Nov 3, 2005 : Web Host Collocation Solutions Renamed
📅 - Collocation Solutions announced on Wednesday that it would change its corporate name to Dataside (dataside.com). The company says the new name reflects the company's expanded capabilities added with its purchase of managed network services provider COMDEPOT. Dataside says it will attack a wider market segment and expand its overall service delivery. "I am very pleased to usher in this new era for the company. When we acquired COMDEPOT we felt there was an identity problem with both company brands, as neither one could encompass the scope of what we really can offer to our clients," says Jim deVenny, CEO of Dataside. "Our intent with the move to Dataside is to evoke the correct perception for all our prospective customers, and deliver that singular prominent identity we felt was needed. This new brand offers innovative and complete business solutions to companies of all sizes."
