Go Daddy has increased the disk space, bandwidth, email accounts and MySQL databases on all its plans, in some cases by as much as 900 percent. The company has also dropped domain registration prices to the special sale price of $6.95 per year.

"Customers won't find a better hosting price, product or service on the Internet, period," says Go Daddy president and founder Bob Parsons. "We continue to design, implement and staff our hosting systems with two objectives in mind: to make hosting affordable and to keep each customer's site live, without any downtime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

Go Daddy is the largest shared hosting provider in North America, according to Web tracking service Netcraft. It is offering three upgraded plans, with prices starting at $3.95 per month.
