📅 December 20, 2006 - Web hosting software provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Wednesday that Web hosting provider Hosted (hosted.co.uk) was able to implement the automation and billing platform for its new shared Linux and Windows hosting services in eight weeks using SWsoft's PEM.

"We approached SWsoft on October 15 for a full implementation of PEM by December 15," said Shaun Curtis, principal at Validate, the privately-held company that owns the Hosted brand. "SWsoft guided us through a well-organized process to develop, design and install a customized PEM solution in less than eight weeks."

Using PEM, Hosted can deliver end-to-end customer service, including an online storefront, mechanized provisioning and billing and customer self service through a Web-based control panel. Hosted is planning to launch new sites designed to serve customers in the US, Spain and Ireland, using branded resellers and billing in each country's local currency.

"The PEM implementation at Hosted demonstrates how the SWsoft services team can rapidly customize the standard modules to deploy a unique solution," said Serguei Beloussov, chief executive officer, SWsoft. "Once PEM is deployed, providers can use the robust API and SDK to further customize their offerings and adapt the platform for new services."
