📅 - Venture-backed M3 Technology Group (m3tg.com) and managed services provider Azaleos (azaleos.com) announced on Tuesday they are merging to form a national managed services provider.
The new company will specialize in remotely managed Microsoft Exchange services, operating under the Azaleos brand.
Azaleos also launched a monitoring and management service for Microsoft's Active Directory.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2002, M3's services include assessing, designing, delivering and managing corporate email and related infrastructure for companies that are migrating to a new platform or looking to outsource the support of their existing platforms.
The newly merged company will maintain network operations centers on the East and West coasts, while current Azaelos management runs the company.
The company's current customers include Wendy's/Arby's, Alcon, Extended Stay and Chiquita.
Meanwhile, the combined companies will continue to work with their existing reseller partners led by IBM Professional Services.
Both companies provide Microsoft Exchange-related services.
Key Azaleos managed services will include remotely managed active directory ADXchange, monitoring and reporting solution ViewXchange, remote command and control tool ManageXchange, Blackberry management and monitoring tool MobileXchange, cloud-based anti-virus/anti-spam service ProtectXchange, dual-site disaster recovery solution RestoreXchange, and e-mail archiving and storage service ArchiveXchange.
