Feb, 2009 : Applicure Partners with ViUX, HostMySite

📅 February 10, 2009 - Announced via separate press releases, security applications provider Applicure Technologies (applicure.com) recently announced it has partnered with ViUX Systems (viux.com -> hostinger.com) and HostMySite (hostmysite.com ), enabling the web hosting providers to offer their own customers Applicure's flagship product dotDefender.

ViUX Systems and HostMySite will now be able to offer dotDefender to help customers protect their websites and web applications from external and internal attacks.

The security application delivers protection against SQL injection, cross-site scripting and many other application-level attacks, as well as fulfills the application layer firewall requirements of PCI Data Security Standard.

"Applicure is delighted to partner with ViUX Systems to deliver dotDefender fully integrated with Parallels Virtuozzo Containers, supporting Windows and Linux platforms," says Yaacov Sherban, CEO of Applicure Technologies in the ViUX press release. "This provides the opportunity for customers utilizing virtual private servers to enjoy strong application security at an affordable cost, and strengthens Applicure's position as the supplier of choice to the hosting industry for web application security."

Applicure Technologies develops multi-platform web application security software products to protect websites and web applications by identifying attacks accurately, and to block them before they reach the website or application.

dotDefender is deployed globally and is serviced by offices and business partners in the US, Europe and Asia.
