📅 March 1, 2007 - Web hosting provider HostMySite (hostmysite.com ) announced on Wednesday that it now offers ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 support for all shared hosting plans featuring ASP.NET 2.0.

HostMySite is offering the ASP.NET AJAX extensions as a free component within its builder plans, helping developers build interactive Web pages with an increased level of interactivity, speed and usability. Prior to updating its plans with ASP.NET AJAX support, HostMySite conducted an extensive beta program for customers interested in using this technology.

"Beta programs give us the opportunity to communicate closely with customers to identify and understand issues that are of particular interest for them," says Monish Sood, HostMySite's director of marketing.

Prior to launching any new service, HostMySite invites selective groups of customers to fine tune functionality and features before the public launch. Using this method ensures new services are offered with the highest quality for both the product and its supporting customer service.
