📅 August 11, 2008 - UK managed hosting provider NetBenefit (netbenefit.co.uk -> netbenefit.com) announced on Monday it has partnered with content delivery network services provider Panther Express (panther.com) to offer a content delivery platform to complement its existing business critical managed hosting solutions.

The Panther CDN service efficiently delivers content to a global audience while enabling full control of the cost of distribution.

Panther Express recently named Mark King as US vice president of sales and marketing.

NetBenefit says that a number of its customers are already using the new Panther CDN service including The National Archives.

"Placing your content on a CDN removes key technical and business barriers associated with content delivery so that companies of all sizes can benefit from world class CDN services to effectively deliver digital content," says Jonathan Robinson, chief operating officer at NetBenefit. "This new service demonstrates NetBenefit's commitment to provide flexible managed hosting solutions tailored to meet the individual business needs of a broad range of customers."

Part of London listed Group, NetBenefit provides managed hosting services in the UK, with a range of services designed for every level of business.

Last month, NetBenefit made a plea to the UK government to invest in UK domains after news emerged that a number of .gov.uk sites are being hosted in Sunnyvale, California.
