Aug 1, 2008 : Core NAP Expands Facility
📅 - Data center solutions provider Core NAP (corenap.com) announced on Friday it has completed the expansion of its Texas data center as well as moved to a new corporate headquarters.
This news comes only two weeks after the company announced it had appointed some new executives as well as launched its new corporate website.
Core NAP says it has expanded usable raised floor data center space from 7,500 square feet to 10,000 square feet and expanded infrastructure support space to 5,000 square feet to meet increasing customer demand.
As with the existing facility, Core NAP says its engineers built the new portion themselves, versus contracting the work. This hands-on approach gives Core NAP employees a thorough understanding of the data center's capabilities and ensures optimal energy efficiency and performance practices are followed, says the company.
"Core NAP strives to be the most reliable and flexible data center partner in Central Texas," says Kenneth Smith, president of Core NAP, "and by expanding our facility with a commitment to intelligent green design, we are improving on our ability to offer advanced, custom services at affordable rates."
Core NAP has also moved its corporate headquarters to Research Park Place at 12515 Research Boulevard, Suite 100 in Austin. The company is leasing 5,500 square feet of office space in the building to house its executive and sales teams plus new disaster recovery office space for customers and conference room capacity for business meetings.
