Before joining HostMySite, MacIntyre was the founder and CEO of AgileBootCamp.com, an Agile software consultancy firm. The firm has consulted with Fidelity Investments to help move their software staff toward Agile methodologies, with MacIntyre personally instructing senior staff members within Fidelity.
He also served as director of engineering for Monster.com where he led the development of Monster.com Employer products. In addition to his significant Internet and Agile software development experience, MacIntyre has run large International software organizations focused on delivering high-availability solutions for large enterprise customers.
"We are thrilled to expand our executive leadership in the software development vertical here at HostMySite.com," says HostMySite CEO Lou Honick. "Don's considerable development experience within some of the world's most respected brands - Monster.com and Hewlett Packard - will be an enormous asset to our growing team. Since last year, the Web host has aggressively expanded its management team. In December, HostMySite hired hosting industry veteran, Derek Vaughan, in the role of VP of marketing. The company says it has also created the role of director of product developmentand and is will hire successful candidate to fill that position in the next couple of months.
