The companies, Click4Care and Em3 are increasing efficiency by moving their healthcare information and business processes online.
Click4Care offers healthcare technology solutions designed to assist health plans and other entities reduce clinical and administrative costs by supporting the identification and management of patient's conditions. Genuity's Black Rocket service is helping the company provide caregivers, patients and their families with Web-based tools for supporting patients? health care requirements.
Click4Care says there is an increasing need for reliable infrastructure in the online healthcare management industry. The company says it chose Genuity because it needed a fully managed service that could scale with the business as it grows.
Formed in August 2000 as a spin off from Concentra Health Services, Em3 was designed to bring the company's expertise in process and technology to the market. The company is using the Black Rocket service to host its EmPact service, an Internet-based system for linking employers, providers and payors involved in workers? compensation.
Em3 says the health care industry is only beginning to take advantage of the Internet to make operations more efficient and secure.
