May 10, 2001 : Verado Revenues Up 21 Percent
📅 - Verado Holdings Inc. (verado.com), a provider of outsourced managed services and data center solutions for businesses, announced on Wednesday its financial results for the quarter ending March 31, 2001.
The company said its data center revenue was $3.9 million, up 21 percent, or $700,000, from the fourth quarter of 2000.
Verado says it Is pleased to have exceeded its revenue expectations in the first quarter, considering the difficult economic climate in the past few months.
According to the company, after terminating its telephony agreements with the city of Anaheim and selling its dial-up Internet access customer base back to Earthlink, Verado is now better positioned to focus more closely on its core managed services and data center businesses.
Verado has secured a $13.5 million vendor financing agreement in order to maintain its funding status into the middle of 2002, and is confident that it will further establish itself as the company strives to become a leader in outsourced managed services and data center services business.
In the past week, says Verado, it has signed four new contracts, two of which were major managed services contracts, as well as renewing its relationship with long time customer Toshiba. Verado was also recently named one of the first companies to receive Cisco Systems? ?Content Services designation within the Cisco Powered Network Program? for hosting providers.
