Micromuse Chooses New Orleans as Site For Netcool Users Conference

(micromuse.com), a provider of real-time fault management and service assurance software, today announced that it will simultaneously host its 5th annual North American Netcool Channels Partners and Netcool Users Conferences at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in New Orleans from July 30th through August 2nd.

July 30th will be a one-day informational event designed for Micromuse's Authorized Channels Partners. July 31st, August 1st and August 2nd will be a three-day educational forum for customers of Micromuse's Netcool® software suite.
Micromuse's Netcool software suite collects management data from more than 300 management environments and network devices, including voice, data and Internet. Fault data is processed and filtered by an in-memory database. The Netcool suite helps operators to build views of service availability in real time, helping them manage networks more efficiently.
"The Netcool Users Conference provides a collaborative opportunity for our customers and partners to share their ideas and experiences, while offering insight into the latest tools and trends in network management solutions," said Lou Steinberg, Micromuse's Senior Vice President, Marketing & Market Development. "The agenda will feature five vertical market tracks, allowing us to offer attendees industry-focused technical sessions that provide answers to business and technical challenges, adding value to their overall network operations experience."
This year's North American Netcool Users Conference will feature numerous technical sessions and partner seminars highlighting current and future technology issues related to maintenance, upgrading and deployment of network operations solutions. These specialized conference tracks will include valuable insight from experts in telecommunications, wireless services management, cable broadband management, Internet and eCommerce services management, and enterprise Management. Attendees will hear real-world customer success stories from a broad spectrum of Micromuse's customers and partners, and have the opportunity to attend in-depth technical seminars, product education, and integration demonstrations.
The International Netcool Users Group (INUG), an independent organization of users and partners of Micromuse's Netcool software, is helping to develop the program for this year's North American Netcool®Users Conference. The organization will also actively recruit new membership in New Orleans.
