📅 June 13, 2001 - Internap Network Services (Internap.com -> inap.com), a leading provider of intelligent routing services over the Internet, introduced a new service level guarantee to its customers on Wednesday that the company says is the broadest in the IP connectivity industry.

The guarantee covers latency, packet loss and network availability to the Internet, and has been structured around Internap's premiere managed service offering designed to deliver performance-based routing over a broad array of backbones from many service points. Internap says the promise also includes new guarantees for installation intervals as well as the industry's first credits on problem resolution times.

Through a customized version of Mercury Interactive's new Topaz WeatherMap, customers will be able to look at Internap Overlay Network performance and comparative backbone performance between Internap Service Points and specific locations on the Internet by hour, day, week and month.
