iNNERHOST and CANTV Sign an Exclusive Deal to Provide Complex Managed Hosting Services

📅 June 14, 2001 - Managed hosting company iNNERHOST today announced a partnership with CANTV.Net, Venezuela's largest ISP, to bring the latest Microsoft applications to corporate and enterprise customers exclusively through CANTV.Net. As part of the partnership, iNNERHOST will provide the complex management of infrastructure and applications, while CANTV.Net offers the connectivity and access to their expanding customer base.

"As a result of our partnership with iNNERHOST, we will provide our customers the competitive edge they need to run the latest Microsoft applications without the high upfront costs involved in upgrading their hardware and software applications," said Miguel Benatuil, President of CANTV.Net.
Through this agreement, iNNERHOST will be providing the infrastructure for running Microsoft's .net Enterprise suite of server applications for building, deploying, and managing scalable, integrated, web-based solutions and services for CANTV.Net customers. CANTV.Net will begin to provide the services immediately.
CANTV will now be able to store and maintain all of their clients' information on secure servers located in the United States and Venezuela, so that a company can have all of their information accessed from either point. This provides their customers with the peace of mind that their data will be safe and secure in the event of a natural disaster, power outage, or security issue.
