(urchin.com), maker of Urchin,announced a marketing and technology agreement that lets the Urchin Web siteanalysis products be purchased and resold as a service through Ensim'sServerXchange hosting automation platform. The new agreement boosts revenueopportunities and differentiation in the marketplace forServerXchange-enabled hosting providers.

Urchin has garnered wide-spread popularity as an advanced reporting toolthat Web hosters can package as a service to their enterprise customers.Through the agreement, hosting providers can use the ServerXchangedrag-and-drop interface to deploy and administer Urchin 3, allowing them tomarket the services to enterprises.
"We saw an enormous synergy between ServerXchange and Urchin in jointlyreaching out to service providers for a combined, powerful solution," saidBrett Crosby, executive vice president of business development, QuantifiedSystems. With ServerXchange, hosting providers can instantly develop a hostingbusiness using Windows 2000, Linux or Solaris as platforms for theirservers.
