📅 - Lucent Technologies (lucent.com) has announced thatManquehue Net (manquehue.net), a leading telecommunications company providing IP, data and wireline services in Chile, has recently implemented Lucent Technologies' Arbor/BP billing platform, part of the Kenan line of billing and customer care software.
The software was implemented in just five months by Accenture, a provider ofmanagement and technology consulting services, with support from Lucent'sbilling and customer care consulting services group. The Arbor/BP billingplatform, a next generation mobile, IP and convergent billing system, isproviding Manquehue Net with the flexibility it needs to rapidly respond tothe demands of the market and its customers.
With its new billing system, Manquehue Net can rapidly launch new productsand promotions enabling it to maintain a leading edge in the highlycompetitive Chilean market. This service provider is now able to offer itscustomers a unified bill for all its services, including Internet access,Web hosting and email, as well as design new marketing strategies aroundthese services.
