Mar, 2002 : Amazon.com Renews Contract With Keynote Systems


📅 - Keynote Systems (keynote.com) said yesterday that e-commerce site Amazon.com had renewed its contract with Keynote for performance measurement services for another year.

Keynote's services allow enterprise-level clients to benchmark, diagnose, test and manage their e-business applications both inside and outside firewalls. Keynote said that more than 2,600 corporate IT departments, Web hosting companies ISPs worldwide have implemented Keynote's service, and that Amazon uses the measurements as a troubleshooting tool that allows them to obtain difficult data.
"Keynote's mission is to improve the quality of e-business worldwide by providing services which allow large enterprises with an online presence to manage service level agreements and third party content and increase operational efficiency through faster problem resolution," said Marilyn Kanas, vice president of Marketing and Public Services for Keynote. "Amazon.com is a leader in providing unparalleled service, and Keynote is proud to continue its relationship with Amazon.com."
Founded in 1995, Amazon sells millions of unique items online in categories like books, music, DVDs and videos. Amazon has served approximately 30 million cumulative customers worldwide.
