May, 2002 : HostMySite Launches Free ColdFusion Development Accounts

📅 May 22, 2002 - Web hosting firm HostMySite.com said this week it has introduced a free trial offer for Web hosting accounts with Macromedia ColdFusion MX support.

The trial is designed to create an opportunity for HostMySite.com to gain feedback as preparations are made for the implementation of a CF MX environment. The free test accounts offered include 200 MB of Web space and a 100 MB SQL Server 2000 database to be used as part of the testing process.
"This trial is completely free, and offers developers an excellent opportunity for beginning development on a new site or testing an existing site on the CF MX platform," the company said in a release.
According to the company, the duration of the trial period is limited, and the accounts are for testing and non-production use only. Orders for a trial account can be placed at https://www.HostMySite.com/cfmx.hms.
