Jul, 2002 : DataPeer Launches Channel Partner Program
📅 - Data storage and management solution provider DataPeer Inc. (datapeer.com) announced on Tuesday that it has launched its SmartChannel Partner Program.
The program, says DataPeer, allows companies to add DataPeer's data storage and backup, network and monitoring services and dedicated and managed hosting services to their existing offerings.
"While the IT market may be struggling as a whole, demand for data storage and management services is still growing as companies, especially in the middle market, try to do more with less," says Dave Braunstein, director of business development for DataPeer. "The SmartChannel Partner Program enables resellers of all sizes to capitalize on this demand without the time and investment of creating their own infrastructure."
The SmartChannel program, says DataPeer, offers two levels of partnership. The QuickStart Reseller option offers participants 15 percent of sales revenue, providing support through a dedicated sales and marketing portal, Web-based training and certification, sales incentive programs and dedicated technical support. The company's Private Label partners receive 30 percent of revenues, and are offered a branded billing and service administration platform, branded application interfaces, lead generation services, market development funds and dedicated account support.
In order to launch the program, DataPeer says it will offer additional incentives to new companies joining through December.
