Apr, 2003 : New Mail Solutions Extend Ensim WEBppliance

📅 April 14, 2003 - Web hosting industry software developer Ensim Corporation (ensim.com) announced on Monday that a group of vendors of Windows-based mail solutions, including MailEnable, SmartMax Software and CalaCode, are providing plug-in solutions for WEBppliance Pro for Windows.

Ensim says the mail vendors see the growing demand for Ensim's WEBppliance control panel as an opportunity to deliver an enhanced solution to their end customers, as well as increase their own market shares.
According to Ensim, the company's new open API for mail servers allows mail vendors to easily integrate their solutions with Ensim's browser-based hosting control panel. The integration allows hosting providers and customers to have a single web-based user interface for managing all aspects of their Web sites, including mail.
The company says its WEBppliance Pro is the only Windows-based control panel that allows extensive customization of its domain services, allowing hosting providers to differentiate themselves. Ensim's open API makes it easier for hosting providers to integrate WEBppliance Pro with custom applications, as well as third-party applications developed by Ensim partners.
