Aug, 2003 : Equant Named Leader in Gartner Quadrant Survey

📅 August 21, 2003 - Equant (equant.com), a provider of data and IP services, announced today that it was listed for the third consecutive year in the "leader" quadrant of Gartner Inc.'s (gartner.com) "Magic Quadrant" for enterprise network services providers in Europe.

According to the authors of the report, the Gartner "Magic Quadrant for European Data Services, 2003" covered the native and managed data services category in Europe for large enterprises. The ability to deliver voice services, the authors said, was also factored into the rankings.
The rankings were based on two categories of criteria: "vision" and "ability to execute."
"Vision" was defined by factors such as networking service leadership, networking marketing strategy, long-term funding, and technical innovation.
"Ability to execute" was defined by factors such as coverage, service quality, client interaction and presence, service pricing and financial viability.
