📅 - Nauticus Networks (nauticusnetworks.com), the Massachusetts-based developer of the N2000 series of data center switches, announced today the release of version 1.1 of its operating software.

According to the company, the new capabilities enable deeper inspection of data center traffic and application security.
The new version includes increased layer 4-7 and SSL performance, TCP multiplexing, port mirroring, new management capabilities, application attack protection, denial of service attack mitigation, enhancements to load balancing and server health checking algorithms, and improved virtualization capabilities.
"The Nauticus N2000 series fills a gap in data center security, by protecting networks from application-level attacks such as Nimda and Code Red and other new, insidious threats," said Josh Weiss, president and CEO of Nauticus Networks. "Nauticus understands the constant threats our customers face, and the enhancements we've made to the N2000 series provide even greater security and performance, so our customers can secure their data centers at the highest possible level, without compromising performance."
