📅 October 15, 2003 - Central Command (centralcommand.com), a provider of Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD anti-virus solutions, said this week that the University of Dublin, Trinity College in Ireland has chosen to deploy its VexiraT Antivirus product to protect its e-mail infrastructure.

VexiraT Antivirus is an enterprise class Linux anti-virus solution.
"It was important for Trinity College being a leading technology research center in Europe to select the best possible virus scanner for our Linux based e-mail gateways," said Paul Reilly, systems programmer at the University of Dublin, Trinity College. "We undertook an extensive evaluation of the leading anti-virus products and their suitability to our Unix based environment. We decided to go with Vexira because of its seamless integration with Linux, it's ability to scale to large volumes of e-mail, and the excellent support we received from Central Command."
