📅 - Fry Inc. (fry.com), a provider of ecommerce design, development and managed services, has selected Sprint to provide IP bandwidth services, audio conferencing and online presentation capabilities for the company.
The two-year deal will see Sprint provide OC-3 connectivity to support Fry's rapidly-growing Web site development, hosting and online applications for world-renowned companies like Godiva, Amazon.com and Eddie Bauer. Additionally, Fry will begin implementing Spring Audio Conferencing services, as well as Sprint Online Presenter, a Web-based tool for online presentations, seminars and training, meetings and more. Sprint operates one of the world's few Tier-1 IP networks an set a record in June for bandwidth throughput, sending live customer traffic over a 40-Gigabit per second connection, four times the industry's 10GBPS operating standard.
