Frost & Sullivan said it gave the award to the Chicago-based Web host for its ability to expand its customer base with innovative value creation and enhancement strategies. Hostway has focused its efforts on serving the small and medium-sized hosting market, helping provide the tools necessary to build successful online presences. "Hostway is, without doubt, a strong and rising star in the SME hosting market and one to watch for in the years to come," says Jarad Carleton, industry analyst for Frost & Sullivan. Hostway has expanded its customer base, moving into several international markets in the last two years. "As a result of carefully planned acquisitions, Hostway has been able to increase its customer base in excess of 200,000 accounts without losing focus on the importance of high-quality service and customer retention," says Carleton.
