📅 October 25, 2005 - Web host provider BizLand (bizland.com ) announced on Monday it has launched its "Member Mug Shot" photo contest, where it will award one individual the opportunity to promote his or her business, organization or Web site on the bizland.com homepage. BizLand members are invited to submit creative photos of themselves involved in activities related to their Web sites.

"So far, the response has been incredible," says Jean McCarthy, BizLand's senior marketing director. "Our members are really making an effort to send us their best and most original photos. I think the enthusiasm we're seeing underscores what a vibrant small business community we host here at BizLand."

The winning photo will appear on the bizland.com homepage accessed by thousands of small business owners daily. BizLand may also choose additional photos to be featured on other areas of its Web site or within BizLand's promotional materials.

The winner of the contest, which is free to enter, will be announced this November. The promotion runs through until October 28, 2005 and is limited to one photo entry per member. The first 50 entrants will receive BizLand t-shirts.
