📅 - Data center operator and colocation provider i/o Data Centers (iodatacenters.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Wednesday that it has signed a multi-year agreement to design, build and operate a financial grade data center for Colorado-based FirstBank (efirstbank.com).
As part of this agreement, the banking institution will occupy a custom suite in i/o Data Centers' Scottsdale ONE data center facility.
i/o Data Centers will also provide the bank through its disaster recovery plan and is scalable and flexible to support the continually growing needs of its business. FirstBank currently has over 120 locations and serves more than 600,000 customers.

FirstBank's IT infrastructure will be supported by i/o's 24-hour security and operations staff.
Offering more than 12 Megawatts of digital grade power, the Scottsdale ONE data center facility provides a secure and redudant site to house FirstBank's critical data.
i/o Data Centers will provide FirstBank with "always on", secure, data grade power and digital grade space which is guaranteed with a 100 percent uptime service level Agreement.
The company's data centers recently became SAS 70 Type II certified in August, and also adheres to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard best practices to secure web property, intellectual property and payment account data for its clients.
FirstBank is Colorado's second largest depository institution and Colorado's largest locally owned bank with over $9 billion in assets and over 120 locations in Colorado.
