😠 I have been with hostonce for a long time now, I am on their Reseller hosting package.
The main problem is not the up time, hosting wise my site has been up for around 80% of the time but email... omg!
It goes down a hell of alot, when you contact support they take a week to get back to you, how do they expect you to run a business like this let alone the fact that when my email goes done my reseller accounts emails go down...
Avoid like the plague very very bad.
Currently trying to move away from them now and even that is difficult.

😠 After a realy painful time with Hostonce.com I changed about a year ago and I'm happy to hear nothing more from these torturing people! Simple unusable! My advice: search for hosting companies the give you a real address, phone number and email contact address and a real time chat support as well. Email and call them several times with questions BEFORE you go in contract with them. Hostonce offered NOTHING of them and you cannot even find out where they are located. In Australia, in the USA or in United Kingdom. They have no idendity so it is not possible to handle them and your money is possibly loosed. As my website disappeared I had no choice to contact them over more then three weeks! Obviousely the Hostonce.com servers are completly overloaded and I know that they have a lot of problems with their servers - which is a high risk for all sites hosted on Hostonce.com! Beware! Their pricing is low but their service is much lower!

😠 Beware! I share this horror story so that you can be saved from the torment that I went through. Back in the winter of 2001/2002 it was post September 11th and my start-up NYC based business desperately needed a boost. So I looked to find a cheap web-host with enough bandwidth to build a web business on. The features that were advertised for that price were impressive, but I never fully received them. I had been enthusiastic about placing my website with these people as I thought this company was filled with good people because they allegedly support a charity for eating disorders, but closer to the truth is they gave me something of an eating disorder.
I liked the pricing and the control panel but after the first couple weeks almost every time I visited my business website it was down. I was overly patient with them to reply for several weeks, but they never responded, and finally when they did reply after the first month was over, they said it was too late for a refund, [read more...]
