😃 I find infra good in support as their response is very quick. I appreciate such a fast response. I want quick support to solve any problem fast. For this reason, I have several recommendations from experienced persons for a good support service provider like Instra,, Host gator, Domain racer. These suggestions works best for me.

😠 These guys never try to help and are very rude in phone call. They don't communicate properly about payment failure which was due to old credit card and put the blame on us to pay huge extra fee for the renewal of expired domain.
The SUPERVISOR "TANIA" spoke VERY RUDELY and never tried to help. And hanged up by encouraging me to give any review I want.

Instra is an Australian-based hosting provider that kept extending ever since they started their activity back in 1999. They claim to host domains from 250 countries and have accreditations with more than 60 registries.
The company offers the following hosting solutions:
- Shared Hosting;
- Domain Registration;
- SSL Certificates;
Shared hosting packages are designed for companies as well as individuals and there is no setup fee implied. All plans include MySQL databases and email accounts, but unlike other companies that provide such features in unlimited amounts, Instra offers them in limited amounts except for the Business and First Class plans. Depending on the plan you choose, you get a number of free apps that can be installed (starting with 3 and reaching up to an unlimited number).

What is more is that they do not provide a refund policy.
Nevertheless, the company is present worldwide and offers good hosting solutions and domain registration all over the world.

😠 I tried to register a .VN domain through them as they were the only site I could find that let me do a Vietnamese domain name in English. I canceled my order after multiple instances where it took days for them to respond to my emails which often failed to answer my questions or be helpful. I am also still waiting for a refund since I requested the cancellation and never heard back from their team.

😠 A Total Scam
I don't know what they are up to but it feels like a scam. I was informed by OnlyDomains.com that my domain name was being transferred to Instra. I had been paying $15 per year there for the domain and Instra was going to charge $75 per year, and maybe some extra shady fees - like maybe a "restore fee" of $77 per year.
And my admin and technical contacts on the domain have been changed to some numeric user at PrivateRanger.com - potentially locking me out of my own domain. The original email from OnlyDomains said if I don't confirm the transfer it will revert back to them. Right now, I'm scared to follow any links in the Instra email in case they trap me.
I can only assume they are trying to buy customers from cheep domain companies with the intention of milking them.Stay well away.

😠 Instra has to be the worst place register your name, don't do it. There are other companies. I have found them incredibly unhelpful, the support department is arrogant and above giving any real support, that is if they come back to you. Try calling them, better not, they will just hang up on you. This company should be shut down as they will make it as difficult as they can for your to link a name to a website and again, if they can be bothered. I bought a domain 6 months ago and over 150 emails later, phone calls, my domain name is still not linked because they make it almost impossible unless you transfer everything to Instra. Stay away from this company is my recommendation.

😠 BEWARE: Instra Corporation Saves Credit Card info and misuses with not [...]
I was taken aback when I blocked a domain name for for a future plan that did not go live. To my surprise they have billed me $55/- automatically about 15 days before domain renewal without any of my consent. It is more than 10 days. They have sent me a mail stating some problem and not ready to commit what will be refunded and the printed form has all statements stating full refund is not possible. I advise everyone to be careful about this fraudulent ISP.

😠 Awful service + support
I was attracted to Instra.com because they were based in Australia and offered a diverse range of top level domain names. However, they were slow to contact me during the name registration process. I had to shoot them an email to get a call back from their staff for the process to continue. This was for an initial domain. Further down the track I registered for another domain name, which I later wished to cancel. They were very quick to debit my money. After one support ticket and an separate one+ week later. I still have been refunded my money, and I still have an in-process domain I no longer require.
Their service and support(well lack off. Not responding to emails/tickets) is disgusting.
I won't use or recommend Instra.com in the future.

😠 Instra search showed that the domain I wanted was available, I paid for it only to be informed by them that it wasn't available. This was relayed to me after payment only. I requested another domain and a refund for the balance, after a month they paid me out less than what my credit was. I changed the dns on the domain registered by them and 48 hours later still nothing had happened, they are now just ignoring me. I sent an email to all and sundry at Instra to try and get assistance.
I'm done with Instra, they appear to have no moral standing.

😠 My experience with instra has been a nightmare. It takes forever for them to make requested changes.
The worst part, though, is I edited some mx records to change their priority. 3 days later mx lookups are returning nothing and my mail is down. How in the hell do they delete and push out 0 mx records from me changing the priority of the records? Unacceptable. The only reason I went with them is because godaddy and network solutions were not offering .it domains. As soon as one of them offer it, I'm transferring.
