Yourhosting is one of the better-established Dutch hosting providers, with a history dating back to 2000. The company was founded by Valentijn Borstlap and developed from a traditional domain and web hosting business into a considerably broader Internet services provider. Operations are centered in Zwolle, Overijssel, Netherlands, under Your Hosting B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 34128261.

The business has reached substantial scale in the Netherlands, serving more than 344,000 customers, managing approximately 1.38 million domain names, and employing more than 250 people. This makes Yourhosting much larger than the typical independent shared-hosting provider and gives it a particularly strong presence among Dutch consumers, entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses.

Corporate consolidation has played an important role in this growth. In February 2018, the former Yourholding group joined Strikwerda Investments in the creation of Total Webhosting Solutions. That organization later developed into Your.Online (your.online), which subsequently became part of the wider Your.World group.

Yourhosting became one of the central Dutch brands within this structure. From January 1, 2022, several hosting companies were consolidated into Yourhosting, including Argeweb, SoHosted, Vevida, Alphamega Hosting, VIP Internet, Realhosting and DeHeeg. Customers from KPN's former Eigen Site & Mail operation were also transferred during 2022. As a result, the company combines its original hosting operation with a large customer base accumulated through acquisitions and migrations from other established Dutch providers.

The current service portfolio covers Domains, Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, VPS, Managed VPS, Reseller Hosting, Email Hosting, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Website Builder, Web Design, Webshop Design, Premium DNS, SSL Certificates and Online Backup. This gives customers a practical path from a simple domain and mailbox to managed websites, Microsoft business applications and dedicated virtual server resources.

The main Web Hosting range is divided between Basic, WordPress Start and WordPress Max. Basic is suitable for customers who want a conventional hosting environment and prefer to install or manage their own CMS, while WordPress Start and WordPress Max provide a more WordPress-oriented setup. CMS applications can be installed through Plesk, making WordPress and other common website applications relatively easy to deploy.

WordPress hosting includes automatic updates, daily backups and additional security measures. The Smart WordPress AI environment can create an initial website within minutes after the customer chooses a style and provides information about the business. The system can generate pages, text, images and logos, while the AI assistant can later help make changes to the website.

ServicePlus adds a more hands-on service layer for customers who do not want to handle every technical task themselves. It can include YourAdvice, installation assistance, callback support, migration assistance, monthly webmaster work and help recovering a hacked WordPress website. This makes the higher hosting packages especially useful for small businesses without their own webmaster or system administrator.

The migration service can transfer websites and several mailboxes from another provider, while installation assistance covers initial tasks such as connecting a domain, publishing the website and configuring email accounts on customer devices.

The separate Email Hosting range is suitable for customers who need professional mailboxes without necessarily purchasing web hosting. Basic Mail includes 50 GB total email storage, 50 mailboxes and up to 1 GB per mailbox. Start Mail increases capacity to 150 GB, 250 mailboxes and up to 5 GB per mailbox, while Max Mail provides 300 GB total storage, unlimited mailboxes and individual mailboxes up to 15 GB. Unlimited aliases, antivirus protection and spam filtering are included.

Customers requiring significantly more control can move to an Unmanaged VPS. These servers provide dedicated virtual resources, root access and Linux installations based on AlmaLinux or Ubuntu. Pro 4 includes 175 GB SSD storage, 4 GB RAM, two CPU cores and unlimited traffic, while the larger packages scale to as much as 600 GB SSD, 24 GB RAM and eight CPU cores.

Unmanaged VPS customers are responsible for operating-system administration, updates, application configuration and their own server-level management. Hardware and network infrastructure remain the responsibility of Yourhosting. A DirectAdmin license can be added for customers who prefer graphical server administration instead of managing everything from the command line.

The Managed VPS range is considerably more service-oriented. Yourhosting handles operating-system updates, monitoring, security and backups, making these servers better suited to companies that need isolated resources but do not want to employ their own Linux administrator. M Pro 3 includes 2 GB RAM, three CPU cores, 80 GB SSD storage and 2.5 TB traffic, while M Pro 4 includes 4 GB RAM, four CPU cores, 100 GB SSD storage and 5 TB traffic. Both include 24/7 SLA3 support, and larger custom configurations are available when required.

Reseller Hosting is available for agencies, designers, developers and other businesses managing hosting for their own customers. Discounts increase according to the number of customers managed through the reseller account, beginning at 3% from three customers and reaching 12.5% for 15 or more. Resellers remain responsible for first-line customer support while handling customer services, invoices, quotations and product changes through their own environment.

Reseller VPS provides greater isolation and more dedicated resources than ordinary reseller hosting. It combines virtual server resources with management functions such as Plesk and backups, making it suitable for resellers that need more control over their infrastructure.

Domains remain an important part of the company. Yourhosting manages well over one million domain names and supports hundreds of extensions, including .nl, .com and .eu alongside many country-code and newer generic TLDs. Domain transfers use the normal authorization-code process, and customers can combine a transfer with website, email and DNS migration services.

A separate Domain Redirect service can forward an additional or older domain to another website. Yourhosting also has an AI business-name generator that creates company-name suggestions and immediately allows matching domain availability to be checked.

Customers who prefer not to use WordPress can build a website with YourWebsite, the company's visual website builder. It includes more than 140 responsive templates, drag-and-drop editing, hosting, professional email, SEO functions, blogging features, social-media integration, SSL and analytics support.

For businesses that prefer to outsource the entire project, Yourhosting provides professional Web Design services using WordPress. Entry packages cover smaller one-page websites, while Business and Pro configurations support larger five-page and ten-page projects. Customers retain ownership of the resulting website, which is an important advantage over fully closed website-builder ecosystems.

Professional webshop development is also available. Smaller WordPress webshops start at approximately €2,000, while more advanced custom e-commerce projects can reach €10,000 or more depending on functionality and complexity. Ongoing WordPress maintenance is available separately.

The business-services range extends into Microsoft 365, including Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium and Enterprise licensing. Depending on the selected package, customers receive Office applications, OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, business email and additional security and management functions.

Exchange Online is available separately for businesses that need Microsoft email without the complete Office bundle. Plan 1 provides a 50 GB mailbox, while Plan 2 increases mailbox capacity to 100 GB. Features include Outlook Web App, desktop Outlook support, calendar and contacts, spam and malware filtering, retention functionality, data-loss-prevention features and archiving.

Microsoft Copilot for Business can be added to compatible Microsoft 365 subscriptions, extending AI-assisted functionality into Microsoft applications, email, documents and meetings.

Security services include Premium DNS, using Anycast technology, DNSSEC and additional DDoS resilience. The DNS infrastructure spans approximately 20 countries, 40 locations and around 100 DNS servers, improving resilience and allowing DNS requests to be answered from geographically distributed locations.

SSL options range from free Let's Encrypt certificates to managed DV, Wildcard and EV certificates. Commercial certificates use Sectigo products, while Yourhosting handles installation, maintenance and renewal for the managed options.

Acronis Backup provides an additional backup service for computers, mobile devices, business systems and cloud applications. Storage packages begin at 50 GB, while business configurations can protect workstations, servers, virtual machines, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Backup data is stored in certified European facilities.

The company is strongly focused on the Dutch market. The website, account environment and ordinary telephone assistance are primarily in Dutch, while products are sold in EUR. No complete multi-language/localized storefront exists, so the service is considerably more convenient for Dutch-speaking customers than for international users requiring an English-first hosting environment.
