VPS.ua is a Ukrainian infrastructure provider specializing in virtual private servers. The company has operated since 2010 and is based in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Sergey Skurikhin serves as the director and legal operator, while the business has developed into a substantial regional hosting provider with a workforce estimated at between 51 and 200 employees.

The service range is centered on KVM VPS, Cloud VPS and Windows VPS, complemented by domain registration, SSL certificates, remote backups, server administration and custom cloud infrastructure. Shared hosting, reseller hosting and conventional bare-metal dedicated server plans are not part of the main product portfolio.

The standard KVM VPS platform uses SSD storage, dedicated RAM, full root access and a 100 Mbps network connection. The entry configuration includes 4 GB of RAM, 2 GB of swap memory, 50 GB of SSD storage, two virtual processor cores and one IPv4 address. Available Linux distributions include AlmaLinux, Debian and Ubuntu, giving customers enough flexibility for websites, databases, development environments, business applications and private services.

KVM traffic is offered without a fixed monthly quota, although a fair-use threshold applies. Servers exceeding 5 TB of transfer during one month may have their connection reduced to 10 Mbps until the next billing cycle. This condition is particularly relevant for video delivery, large downloads, mirrors and other bandwidth-intensive projects.

Customers selecting longer KVM billing periods can receive a domain name free for the first year. Eligible extensions include .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .com.ua and .kyiv.ua. Certain quarterly and longer subscriptions can also include an Essential SSL certificate.

Cloud VPS provides a more flexible alternative based on OpenStack-compatible management and Ceph distributed storage. Resources are billed hourly, and virtual machines can be created, resized, cloned or deleted as requirements change. The platform also supports snapshots, templates, private networks, external firewall rules, load balancing and automatic virtual-machine recovery on another physical node after a host failure.

The cloud environment can be controlled through the browser interface, command-line tools, an OpenStack-compatible API and Terraform. This combination is useful for automated deployments, temporary test environments, scalable applications and infrastructure-as-code projects.

Custom cloud infrastructure is also available for companies replacing local server equipment or building applications that require better redundancy. These deployments can combine several application servers, private networking, replicated storage, load balancers, backup systems and automatic scaling. The final architecture and price depend on the required capacity and level of redundancy.

Windows VPS uses KVM virtualization and supports Remote Desktop, Windows applications, Microsoft-based websites, accounting programs and other software that depends on the Windows environment. Virtual-machine management functions include startup, shutdown, rebooting and checkpoint creation.

The available Windows documentation still focuses heavily on Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016. Customers planning a production deployment should confirm the current Windows Server editions, license fees and support lifecycle before ordering.

A 30-day VPS trial is available for $1. The KVM test package includes 4 GB of RAM, 50 GB of SSD storage and two processor cores, with deployment available in Lviv, Rotterdam or Atlanta. After testing, the $1 charge can be returned or credited to the customer account. A small Cloud VPS can also be tested for 30 days under similar conditions.

Domain registration covers both international and Ukrainian extensions. SSL products include standard, wildcard and extended-validation certificates. CDP backup packages store copies separately from the main virtual server, with storage locations available in Ukraine, the Netherlands and the United States.

Server administration ranges from free basic assistance to paid hourly work and full monthly management. This gives experienced users complete control while also providing an option for customers who need help with maintenance, security and application configuration.

The customer interface is available in Ukrainian and Russian, while an English-language version does not exist. This can make ordering and account management less convenient for international customers. Prices are primarily displayed in US dollars, although Ukrainian billing and currency conversion may apply depending on the payment method and customer account.

VPS.ua does not accept orders from citizens of Russia or Belarus. Customers from other supported countries can use the services subject to payment verification, identity checks and the acceptable-use rules.
