📄 Editorial Review

Turhost is one of Turkey's established web hosting and Internet infrastructure brands, operating since 2004. The company serves individual users, developers, small and medium-sized businesses, and larger corporate customers with a broad portfolio that now includes Domain Registration, Linux Web Hosting, Windows Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Corporate Hosting, Reseller Hosting, E-Commerce Hosting, VPS, VDS, Virtual Servers, Dedicated Servers, Email Hosting, Exchange Mail, SSL Certificates, Firewall services, server software licenses, AI Website Builder and Trademark Registration.

Turhost originally operated through Aerotek Bilişim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. A major ownership change took place in 2022, when team.blue, through Çizgi Telekomünikasyon A.Ş., acquired sole control of Aerotek. The corporate integration was completed on April 24, 2025, when Aerotek Bilişim merged into Çizgi Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. Turhost continues as the commercial hosting brand, while Çizgi Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. is now the legal operating company.

Turhost has more than 30 employees working in a hybrid organization. The wider team.blue group includes more than 60 brands, more than 4,000 employees, and approximately 3.5 million customers. This gives Turhost the scale and resources of a large European hosting group while maintaining its strong focus on the Turkish hosting market.

Linux Web Hosting is one of the main product lines and uses NVMe storage, free SSL, DDoS protection and cPanel. Entry plans start with 5 GB NVMe storage, 25 GB monthly traffic, ten 250 MB email accounts, 1 GB RAM and one CPU core. Larger packages increase storage, traffic, CPU, RAM, databases, hosted websites and email allowances, with the upper plans using unlimited limits under fair-use conditions. One-click application installation, WordPress tools, LiteSpeed caching and backup features are included, making the service suitable for standard websites, blogs, company websites and small online projects.

Windows Hosting remains a separate hosting environment for ASP, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL applications. These accounts use Windows Server and IIS together with Plesk management, giving customers a genuine Microsoft-based hosting alternative rather than forcing all applications into Linux hosting.

WordPress Hosting combines SSD storage, email, staging, website security, statistics, database access and Sectigo SSL. The newer WPSmart environment also adds AI-assisted website creation and content tools. This makes WordPress hosting more suitable for users who want to create and manage a website without manually configuring every WordPress component.

Corporate Hosting provides higher CPU, RAM, storage and email allocations than standard shared hosting. It also includes stronger anti-spam and security tools and access to a dedicated corporate representative. The service is better suited to business websites and companies that need more predictable resources and direct assistance.

E-Commerce Hosting is designed for stores running platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento and OpenCart. The infrastructure combines cPanel, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, Imunify360 and Acronis backup technology. These packages provide significantly more CPU and RAM than ordinary shared hosting and are intended for stores with heavier database usage and greater visitor activity.

Reseller Hosting is available through both the company's proprietary nBayi platform and conventional WHM/cPanel packages. nBayi is particularly flexible because Linux and Windows customer accounts can be managed from the same reseller environment. It also provides customer management, package creation, DNS controls and private nameservers. Western Europe and North America locations have previously been available for nBayi, but those foreign locations are currently temporarily unavailable, leaving the Gayrettepe infrastructure as the active location.

The virtual-server portfolio is divided between Turkish and European infrastructure. VPS TR and VDS TR are hosted in Turkey and use NVMe storage and Intel Xeon server hardware. Resources scale from small VPS configurations with 1 vCPU and 1 GB RAM to considerably larger VDS systems with reserved computing resources, higher traffic allocations and network ports reaching 1 Gbps on suitable plans.

VPS Plus and VDS Plus provide an additional European location in Amsterdam, Netherlands. These services include full root access, monitoring, snapshots, configurable firewall rules, DDoS protection and scalable CPU and memory resources. The physical infrastructure, virtualization layer, networking and Amsterdam data-center environment are supplied through TransIP, while Turhost manages the commercial customer relationship and resale of the service.

Dedicated Servers remain focused on Turkish infrastructure. Configurations range from cost-effective Intel Xeon E5 systems to newer Xeon Silver and Xeon Gold platforms with ECC memory, SSD or NVMe storage, RAID options and dedicated network connectivity. These servers are suitable for high-traffic websites, databases, virtualization workloads, business applications and projects requiring complete hardware control.

The broader Virtual Server range supports both Linux and Windows environments, IPv6, reserved CPU and RAM resources, server-management services and optional software or control-panel licenses. Customers that need assistance with infrastructure administration can combine server rental with management and additional security services.

Email services are broader than those offered by many general hosting companies. Corporate Email Hosting provides larger mailboxes and Turkish infrastructure, while Professional Email targets companies requiring multiple business accounts. Corporate Mail Server provides dedicated email-server resources, and Exchange Mail adds a Microsoft-oriented collaboration environment. These products make it possible to keep corporate email separate from normal web-hosting mailboxes.

The SSL portfolio includes DV, OV, EV and Wildcard SSL. Standard hosting packages also include free SSL options, while SiteSmart uses Let's Encrypt certificates as part of the platform.

SiteSmart AI Website Builder is intended for customers who want to create a complete website without installing WordPress or manually designing pages. It combines AI-assisted site generation, text and image tools, responsive templates, SEO features, analytics integration and multi-language website capabilities. The underlying platform and hosting infrastructure are supplied through Webnode, while Turhost provides the service under its own product portfolio.

Domain registration remains an important part of the business, covering international extensions as well as Turkey's .tr namespace. Trademark-registration assistance is also available, making Turhost useful for companies that want hosting, domains and related brand services from one provider.

The website has a modern responsive design and works well on both desktop and mobile devices. The service is primarily focused on Turkish-speaking customers. Turkish is the principal website language and no complete English localization exists. Product pricing can be displayed in USD and Turkish lira (TRY/TL).
