The Hosting Heroes is a UK web hosting provider with roots going back to 2002. The business developed from Cyber Host Pro, founded by Chris Danks, and later expanded through a series of acquisitions before several hosting brands were consolidated under The Hosting Heroes identity. The current legal company, The Hosting Heroes Ltd, was incorporated on February 15, 2008 under the name Cyber Host Pro Ltd and adopted its current company name in December 2018.

Growth accelerated through acquisitions during 2018 and 2019. Reyaltec joined the business in December 2018, followed by ASPNEThosting.co.uk in May 2019, an operation associated with around 3,000 domains. In October 2019, The Hosting Heroes acquired EZPZ Hosting and approximately 2,000 customers. EZPZ had handled more than 650,000 websites during its history. By April 2021, Cyberhostpro, EZPZ Hosting, Reyaltec, Bargain Hosting, UK Web Hosting Services and Yeti Host had been consolidated under The Hosting Heroes brand.

Corporate control changed in December 2021 when Topco 1383 Limited became the person with significant control, holding more than 75% of the shares and voting rights together with the right to appoint or remove directors. Christopher Piggott became a director at the same time, while Chris Danks ceased being a director and person with significant control.

The current portfolio covers domain registration and DNS, Linux shared hosting, WordPress hosting, Windows hosting, premium elastic cloud hosting, DirectAdmin reseller hosting, cPanel reseller hosting, Windows reseller hosting, hosted email, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, SSL certificates, a website builder and managed VPS services. Dedicated servers remain within the wider service range and contractual framework, although current dedicated-server configurations and pricing are handled separately rather than through a standard public plan table.

Website Hosting is based on DirectAdmin, LiteSpeed Enterprise, CloudLinux, Imunify360 and SSD storage. Starter supports two websites with 10 GB SSD storage, unlimited traffic, one CPU core, 2 GB RAM and five 5 GB mailboxes. Deluxe increases the allowance to ten websites, 25 GB SSD storage, two CPU cores and 3 GB RAM, while Ultimate supports unlimited websites with 40 GB SSD storage, three CPU cores and 4 GB RAM. Daily backups, free SSL, Softaculous, MariaDB/MySQL, MailChannels outbound filtering and migration assistance are included. PHP versions from 7.4 through current 8.x releases can be selected, while SSH access is available when required.

The integrated website builder comes from Site.Pro and provides responsive templates and visual editing tools for customers who prefer building a site without working directly with source code or a CMS interface.

WordPress Hosting follows the same general resource structure while adding WordPress-specific administration. WordPress installations, updates, security, backups, restoration, cloning and staging can be handled from the hosting environment, while LiteSpeed caching improves performance for WordPress workloads. Customers retain direct access to their files and databases, making the service less restrictive than closed managed WordPress platforms.

Windows Hosting uses Plesk together with Microsoft IIS and supports ASP.NET, .NET Core, Classic ASP, Microsoft SQL Server and MariaDB. MailEnable provides email functionality. The entry package supports two websites, 10 GB storage, two Microsoft SQL Server databases and a 1 GB application-pool memory allowance. Larger plans increase website, storage, database and application-pool resources. Free SSL, daily backups, remote database connectivity, MailChannels filtering and migration assistance are included.

For larger shared-hosting workloads, Elastic Cloud Hosting raises the resource limits considerably. Elastic 1 includes unlimited websites, 50 GB storage, four CPU cores and 4 GB RAM. Elastic 2 increases this to 100 GB storage, eight CPU cores and 8 GB RAM, while Elastic 3 provides 200 GB storage, twelve CPU cores and 12 GB RAM. The platform uses deliberately lower account density, with around 40 accounts maximum per server. Acronis-based backups run every six hours and retain 14 daily restore points.

The reseller range is divided between three platforms. DirectAdmin Reseller Hosting begins with 20 GB SSD storage and scales through 50 GB, 100 GB and 200 GB packages. Unlimited domains and traffic, overselling, private branding, SSL, LiteSpeed, Imunify360, Softaculous and MailChannels are part of the platform. cPanel Reseller Hosting combines cPanel and WHM with similar white-label functionality and daily Acronis backups. Additional cPanel accounts can introduce extra per-account licensing charges, which should be taken into account when estimating the real cost of a large reseller operation. Windows Reseller Hosting uses Plesk, Microsoft IIS and white-label nameservers and also includes WHMCS for customer billing and automation.

Email Hosting uses SmarterMail Enterprise and provides standalone business email without requiring a complete web-hosting package. Mailboxes are hosted in the UK and include webmail, spam filtering and backups.

The Linux VPS platform uses HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Plus servers, Intel Xeon Platinum processors and NetApp-backed storage. Entry configurations begin with one CPU core, 1 GB RAM and 30 GB SSD storage, while higher tiers increase processor, memory and disk allocations. Proxmox VE provides virtualization. Customers can keep the server self-managed or add hybrid or fully managed administration.

Windows VPS starts with larger resource allocations because Windows requires at least 4 GB RAM. Customers receive full Remote Desktop and administrator access, making these plans suitable for Microsoft IIS, .NET applications, Microsoft SQL Server and other Windows workloads. Windows Server licensing is charged separately from the base VPS resources.

Domain registration and transfers include DNS management and support common UK and international extensions. Some domains can be registered for multiple years. SSL certificates are available separately, while regular hosting accounts already include free Let's Encrypt SSL, so commercial certificates are primarily useful when a customer needs a particular validation type or branded certificate.

The company operates in English, with pricing available in GBP, USD and EUR. The combination suits both domestic UK customers and international buyers who prefer to pay in a more familiar currency while using UK-hosted infrastructure.
