SUBREG.CZ is a Czech domain registrar and web-hosting service operated by Gransy s.r.o., headquartered in Prague. Gransy was founded in 2008 by Jan Horák, while the subreg.cz domain itself dates from August 24, 2007. The company became ICANN accredited in 2010 and has grown into an important Central European domain-registration business.

Domains are the core of the service. SUBREG manages more than 1,000,000 domain names, supports hundreds of domain extensions and benefits from Gransy's direct relationships with more than 100 registries. Its overall TLD coverage approaches 1,000 extensions, providing access to most major generic, country-code and newer domain extensions from a single customer account.

The domain platform includes registration, renewal, transfer, DNS management, DNSSEC, URL forwarding, email forwarding, domain parking and WHOIS privacy where supported by the registry. Many of these supporting functions are included without additional fees. Domain auctions and a drop-catching system are also available for selected extensions.

SUBREG also operates an advanced partner and reseller platform. Basic partners receive discounted domain pricing, DNS management, SSL ordering and API-based automation. Higher reseller levels add bulk operations, EPP and SOAP interfaces, white-label functionality, WHMCS integration, reseller branding and advanced domain administration. The White Label System can operate on a reseller's own domain with customized pricing, design, email templates and customer management.

The automation platform is particularly useful for hosting companies, agencies and professional domain resellers. It can work with Gransy's own accreditations as well as supported third-party registrar systems, reducing the need for manual registrations and fragmented domain-management workflows.

Gransy also operates Regtons as its international wholesale registrar platform. The business expanded further in 2014 through the acquisition of the Ukrainian Regnames.ua project, strengthening its activity beyond the Czech and Slovak markets.

Web hosting remains available, although it is secondary to domain registration. SUBREG provides free mini-hosting connected to domain registrations and a paid shared-hosting environment. Paid accounts support FTP, MySQL databases, email, subdomains, aliases, PHP configuration, .htaccess/mod_rewrite and SSL. Customers can select the PHP version for individual hosted domains, while Let's Encrypt certificates can be generated automatically for hosted websites.

SUBREG does not operate a VPS, Cloud Server or Dedicated Server catalog under the SUBREG brand. Its focus remains on domain registration, shared hosting and reseller/domain-management services.

SSL certificates are another supplementary service. The portfolio includes products associated with DigiCert, Thawte, GeoTrust and RapidSSL, with RapidSSL covering the main entry-level certificate options. Standard domain-validated and Wildcard certificates are available.

The website supports Czech, English and Slovak, while prices can be displayed in CZK, EUR and USD. The interface has a traditional, older-style structure compared with newer registrar portals, but it remains functional and suitable for experienced domain administrators. The English-language version is available for international customers, although the Czech interface remains the most complete and natural version.
