Public information places the company in the 2–10 employee range, yet they manage a surprisingly large customer base: by late 2025 they report more than 3 million domains under management and recognition as a top registrar from several industry and mainstream outlets.

The brand uses playful, pig-themed visuals, but the product mix is serious enough for most small sites and side projects. Porkbun is set up so that you register a domain and attach hosting and email in just a few steps. Domains include free WHOIS privacy, free wildcard SSL (Let’s Encrypt) on domains using Porkbun nameservers, free URL forwarding, DNS management and API access, which is a strong feature set for a budget-friendly registrar. Pricing is in US dollars (USD), with a long list of legacy and new TLDs and aggressive first-year promotions combined with competitive renewal rates.
