*📜 Plan description

E3-1270v3 is a Haswell-based dedicated server with 32 GB DDR3-1600 ECC memory, 240 GB SSD storage plus a 2000 GB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive, and 30000 GB of monthly bandwidth transfer. The lowest recurring option uses the standard discount and brings the monthly price to 64.99 USD; the normal hardware base cost is 84.99 USD per month when the discount is not selected. The mixed storage layout provides a fast SSD tier for active data and a larger mechanical disk for bulk storage.

Dedicated machines are company-owned systems built for demanding users who need predictable CPU capacity, memory, storage, and bandwidth for large game servers, websites, voice services, or other workloads that need bare-metal performance. Each server uses a premium bandwidth blend with low-latency routing and enough transfer for high-traffic services. Setup is free, and the order flow supports a traditional unmanaged server plus game-server-only managed Windows or Linux options when applicable. The customer area uses NFOservers own in-house control panel for server status, service actions, account tasks, and support. PayPal and major credit cards are accepted. Support is handled through the Help link, email, forums, and the control panel. Locations include United States cities and Frankfurt, Germany. A standard discount can reduce the recurring monthly rate after a one-time payment, while the undiscounted hardware base cost remains available for customers who prefer no upfront discount payment.

📄 Editorial Review

NFOservers, operated by Nuclearfallout Enterprises, Inc., is a long-established U.S. hosting provider focused on game server hosting, voice servers, VDS/VPS, dedicated servers, and performance-sensitive infrastructure. The company traces its roots to the NuclearFallout gaming community in 2001, while NuclearFallout Enterprises was founded in 2002 by John and Tom. John, also known as Edge100x, remains connected to the company as Owner, President, and CEO, while Tom, who passed away, was a co-founder and former CEO from January 2003 through May 2009.

NFOservers is best understood as a specialized infrastructure provider rather than a generic mass-market web host. Their strongest identity is built around low latency, multiplayer game performance, custom automation, DDoS mitigation, and direct technical support. This makes the company especially relevant for gaming communities, server administrators, private VPN users, voice-server customers, and clients who need reliable routing for real-time online applications.

Their product range includes game servers, Murmur / Mumble servers, TeamSpeak 3 servers, HLTV / SourceTV relay options, VDS/VPS, dedicated servers, shared webhosting, personal VPN, and a newer private AI chatbot service powered by their VDS platform. Game hosting remains the core business line, with support for titles such as Minecraft, Counter-Strike, Battlefield, Rust, Valheim, V Rising, Palworld, ARK, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, Garry’s Mod, ArmA, DayZ, and many others.

Their VDS/VPS platform uses HVM Xen virtualization and is designed for workloads that need stronger isolation and more predictable performance than many conventional low-cost VPS services. Virtual servers can be used for game servers, voice servers, webhosting, mail hosting, file serving, backups, remote workstations, VPNs, and custom applications. Customers can choose unmanaged VDS service or managed game-server-only VDS options, with operating system choices including Windows Server, Gentoo, Rocky, Alma, Debian, and Ubuntu. The VDS order process also allows add-ons such as extra IPv4 addresses, additional memory, extra storage, prepaid bandwidth, unmetered transfer, webhosting, TeamSpeak, and Mumble.

The dedicated server line is aimed at demanding users and is based on company-owned hardware. Dedicated servers can be ordered as traditional unmanaged machines or as managed game-server-only systems for Linux or Windows. Windows Server SPLA options include Windows Server Standard 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025.

Their webhosting service is simpler and more secondary compared with the game/VDS platform, but it remains useful for gaming communities and related websites. Shared hosting plans are named Lite, Standard, and Pro. NFOservers also includes free or bundled webhosting in some game-server contexts, especially for web-based in-game downloads and file syncing.

The personal VPN service is built on their VDS infrastructure and supports WireGuard, L2TP, and OpenVPN, with optional Pi-hole installation for blocking ads and spyware. This is a private, single-customer VPN model rather than a shared public VPN network. It includes dedicated IPv4/IPv6 addresses, port forwarding, user-controlled firewall options, and no logging of encrypted traffic.

The private AI chatbot service is another VDS-powered product. It uses Open WebUI and local/private LLM execution, giving customers a private chatbot instance without token fees or third-party chat sharing. This product is especially interesting for users who want more control and privacy than mainstream hosted AI chat services.

😁 Have been hosting various Rust servers with NFO since late 2017, haven't got a bad thing to say about them. Great performance for their dedicated boxes. Manage to run multiple Rust servers with no performance hit, they have excellent DDOS protection and are very fast with their support responses.
Their prices may appear higher than some competitors, but let me tell you, you get what you pay for and they are certainly the best option out there!

😞 We have rented a full machine from NFO for about 4 years now and our hardware is getting outdated compared to their current packages. I started by making a ticket to request a price adjustment on the bill, this was their reply:

""I could give you a further discount on a new machine, if that would help you. As you noticed, an E3-1270v3 machine would be far more capable than what you have: Perhaps 30% faster, with double the RAM, double the hard drive space, and a larger SSD. We would certainly be able to assist with moving your existing IP address over, as well.""

They are very helpful when it comes to new machines and upgrades, but loyal subscribers like myself are being forced to overpay on slower machines or pay top dollar to upgrade.

This is really just a warning for long term users. If you plan to keep the service for more than a year, you might want to look somewhere else.

May change this review if I'm able to work out a deal with John (CEO of NFO).

😁 We've been with them for over 2 years have nothing but good things to say about NFO.They are always great through their support and take good care of you. We have one dedicated server and two game servers, each have great performance and DDOS protection (unfortunately had to experience once, so I know it works well).

Their control panel is admittingly a bit dated looking, however it works very well & I'd prefer a functional panel, then an updated buggy one.

Overall I give full recommendations to use NFO Servers. I know I will continue to use their services for years to come.
