names.co.uk is one of the United Kingdom’s longest-established domain registration and web hosting companies. Founded in 1997 by Richard and Rachel Suthering, the business originally operated as Namesco before adopting the names.co.uk identity in December 2012. It now trades through Team Blue Internet Services UK Limited from Worcester, England.

The company developed through a series of acquisitions that included NamesWeb, Simply.com, Net2, NDO, Register365 and PoundHost. Register.it acquired Namesco in July 2007 for approximately £24.5 million, and the wider operation later became part of team.blue in 2019. Domain registration remains a central part of the business. Customers can register, transfer and renew a large selection of generic and country-code extensions, including British domains such as .co.uk and .uk. The shared web hosting range is divided into Beginner, Enthusiast, Pro and Pro-XL plans.
