Mireene is a long-established South Korean hosting provider operated by EdgeNet Co., Ltd. The company was founded in 2004, and its current representative director is Min Han-gi. Its portfolio extends well beyond conventional shared hosting and includes Linux web hosting, SSD hosting, blog hosting, email hosting, dedicated servers, colocation, cloud services, domain registration, SSL certificates, reseller hosting, security products, fixed-IP VPN access, website development and open-source consulting.

The main entry-level service is Full SSD Hosting, with account capacities ranging from 500 MB to 8 GB and daily traffic allowances between 3 GB and 13 GB. These accounts include daily website backups retained for one day and daily database backups retained for three days. Customers also receive webmail, traffic statistics, web-log analysis and browser-based MySQL administration. SFTP access is available through port 22 on plans that support remote file management.

Customers requiring larger or more specialized environments can choose 64-bit gigabit hosting, Linux gigabit hosting, blog hosting, 100 GB hosting, standalone unlimited hosting or customized hosting. The blog packages support WordPress and Textcube installation and use UTF-8 encoding for multilingual content. Database remote-access hosting, form-mail hosting, image hosting and reseller hosting are also available.

The 100 GB Hosting range is suitable for storage-heavy websites and projects with substantial domestic traffic. Plans include 100 GB or 200 GB of storage together with connectivity ranging from 5 Mbps to 30 Mbps. These packages are mainly intended for South Korean traffic. Websites receiving significant traffic from China, Japan or other overseas markets may require a separately configured international network service.

Email hosting is one of Mireene’s more developed service categories. Premium Webmail includes POP3, SMTP, mobile access, address books, shared calendars, external mailbox collection, spam filtering and antivirus protection. The webmail interface supports Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Larger unlimited-webmail configurations provide between five and 50 accounts, depending on the selected package.

Dedicated infrastructure customers can rent or purchase physical servers, place their own equipment through colocation or request a customized server environment. One available dedicated-server configuration includes two Intel Xeon E5-2630 v4 processors, 32 GB of registered DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD. Infrastructure packages include rack allocation, basic connectivity and an agreed power allowance, while backup systems, redundancy, managed administration, CDN delivery, web application firewalls, UTM security and antivirus protection can be added separately.

The cloud service provides configurable server resources for businesses requiring a more flexible environment. Open-source consulting is also available for Linux installation, server troubleshooting, performance optimization, clustering, database replication and infrastructure built with Apache, MySQL, MariaDB, DNS, mail services, NFS, FTP, OpenSSH, iSCSI, DRBD and GFS2.

Mireene also provides domain registration, renewal and transfer services for South Korean extensions and common international extensions. Additional products include WHOIS management, SSL certificates, traffic notifications, ransomware protection, antivirus software, fixed-IP VPN access, SMS hosting, electronic tax invoices, identity-verification services, online-store hosting, custom website production and ongoing website maintenance.

The main website is almost entirely in Korean, and there is no complete English-language sales interface. Some individual products, particularly the webmail platform, include multilingual interfaces. Prices are displayed in South Korean won, generally excluding VAT.

The website uses an older desktop-oriented design with fixed-width navigation, image-based specification tables and several sections developed around legacy web technologies. A separate mobile website is available, although product comparison and account navigation remain less convenient than on a modern responsive hosting portal.

New applications for the legacy website-builder service ended on February 26, 2026 because the underlying platform could no longer be properly updated and maintained. Existing customers should confirm the continuing support conditions for older websites built with this system.

Some technical specifications also require confirmation before ordering. Older SSD hosting information references PHP 5.x, PHP 7.x and MySQL 5.0.77, while newer service information includes PHP 8.0 and PHP 8.2 support. Customers transferring a modern application should confirm the exact PHP release, database version, enabled extensions and future upgrade policy for the selected server.
