MCHost is a long-established Russian hosting provider operating since 2004. The company serves more than 60,000 customers and maintains a substantial technical platform built around over 1,000 Dell servers with SSD storage. Its customer portfolio covers personal websites, small businesses, online stores, banks, investment companies, government organizations, and other resource-intensive projects.

The MCHost brand began operations in 2004, while the current Russian legal entity, ООО «МАКХОСТ», was registered in 2010. Viktor Andreevich Fedorenko is the registered founder and participant, and Roman Sergeyevich Veretelnikov serves as general director.

The company provides complete Russian and English interfaces. Russian customers primarily use mchost.ru, while mchost.com serves as the English-language version. Service prices are generally denominated in Russian rubles, with approximate US dollar equivalents appearing on parts of the English website.

The central product is shared hosting, offered through the Mac tariff series. These plans cover projects ranging from a single small website to accounts supporting as many as 40 websites and databases. SSD storage allocations extend from 3 GB to 30 GB, while processor allowances increase with each tariff.

Shared hosting includes multiple PHP versions, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, Perl, Python, Ruby, SSH, SFTP, FTP, DNS management, server logs, custom error pages, unlimited subdomains, and an integrated file manager. Email services include POP3, SMTP, IMAP, webmail, unlimited mailboxes, spam filtering, and antivirus protection.

Automatic backups of websites and databases are included. Free Let’s Encrypt certificates can be issued automatically, commercial SSL certificates can be imported, and HTTPS redirection can be enabled directly from the control panel. Infrastructure-level DDoS filtering is also included.

A basic website builder package is available with 1 GB of storage, one website, and no MySQL database. This option is suitable for a simple business page, personal presentation site, or another small project that does not require database-driven applications.

The specialized CMS Hosting service is optimized for WordPress, Joomla, and 1C-Bitrix. Each plan includes 30 GB of SSD storage, support for 25 websites and databases, unlimited traffic, automatic backups, and a peak processor allowance equivalent to 50% of one core. CMS servers use faster processor cores than regular shared-hosting systems, and popular applications can be installed automatically from the MCHost control panel.

Premium Hosting occupies the middle ground between shared hosting and a virtual server. It includes 50 GB of SSD storage and supports as many as 50 websites and databases. Each premium account can use up to one full processor core at peak load, while each server is limited to approximately ten customer accounts. This provides better isolation and more predictable resources without requiring the customer to administer an operating system.

The Linux VPS and VDS range uses KVM virtualization with NVMe or SSD storage. Standard configurations begin with 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, and 15 or 30 GB of NVMe storage, while larger plans reach 6 vCPUs, 12 GB RAM, and 180 or 360 GB of NVMe capacity. Each server includes a dedicated IPv4 address, root access, and unlimited traffic.

A small KVM-NEW configuration includes 0.6 GB RAM, 10 GB SSD storage, and 2 TB of monthly traffic. This discounted plan is limited to one server per customer.

Available operating systems include Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04, Debian, AlmaLinux, and CentOS-based distributions. Virtual servers are normally provisioned within several minutes, and resources can be increased as a project grows. KVM virtualization gives each system its own isolated kernel and provides stronger separation than container-based platforms.

A Windows VPS range is also listed with Windows Server 2019, SSD storage, dedicated IPv4 addresses, and configurations from 4 GB to 16 GB RAM. New Windows VPS orders are currently suspended following Microsoft’s withdrawal from the Russian market, so customers should confirm current availability before planning a Windows deployment.

The Dedicated Server range is based mainly on Intel Xeon E-2278G processors with 64 GB or 128 GB RAM and several HDD or SSD storage combinations. Servers include an unmetered 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps connection, DNS management, operating-system installation, website migration, and continuous iDRAC access.

Customers retain responsibility for server administration, operating-system maintenance, security, and application configuration. Paid administration is available for customers who require additional technical assistance.

Older Intel Xeon E3-1230 dedicated configurations remain listed at lower prices, but these systems are sold out. The available inventory begins at a considerably higher monthly cost.

Additional services include domain registration, standalone backup storage, ispmanager licenses, and 1C-Bitrix licenses. More than 50 domain extensions are supported, including Russian, Cyrillic, and international zones. DNS service is provided through ns1.mchost.ru, ns2.mchost.ru, ns3.mchost.ru, and ns4.mchost.ru.

Standalone backup storage can be used even when the primary server or hosting account is located with another provider. Access is available through FTP or SSH, and technical support can assist with the initial backup configuration. This makes the service practical for VPS and dedicated-server customers who need a separate storage destination.

MCHost also provides account bonuses for customer feedback posted on selected external platforms. These incentives should be considered when assessing public customer ratings, particularly when comparing the company with providers that do not reward published feedback.
