Root-Server XXL is the highest standard model on the visible page and keeps the Ryzen 9 platform while expanding local NVMe capacity. It is billed at 179.99 EUR per month with a one-time setup fee of 3570.00 EUR. The machine uses an AMD Ryzen 9 7000-series processor with 12 cores and 24 threads at 3.8 GHz, 128 GB DDR5 ECC RAM and two 4 TB NVMe drives. For the storage field that means 8 TB raw total before the software RAID mirror context, while included monthly traffic remains 10 TB and the network uplink stays at 1 GBit/s.
This model is the strongest fit in the series for large local datasets, heavier application stacks, bigger game or community platforms, staging plus production on one box or storage-hungry self-managed services. Like the other root servers it includes one IPv4, IPv6 allocation, 100 GB backup space, self-service reboots and rescue mode, reinstall capability, resolver DNS access and business-oriented support backed by a 24x7 emergency line. The result is a high-capacity dedicated server based on owned German infrastructure, with the flexibility to stay Linux-focused or to move toward custom Windows installation when remote console tooling and licensing are arranged.

The entire root-server line is based on real physical hardware with no virtualization layer, hosted in manitu's fully owned data center in Germany directly at the company's site. The comparison pages add several infrastructure details that are valuable in practice: 4-fold geographically and logically redundant connectivity, more than 40 GBit/s aggregate bandwidth, an in-house IPv4 and IPv6 backbone, UPS protection, diesel generator backup, full air conditioning and 100 percent green electricity in a climate-neutral setup.
