📄 Editorial Review

KT Hosting is a long-established Scottish web hosting and domain-services brand operated by Nexus Data Systems Ltd, based in Glasgow. The KT Hosting brand dates to 2002, while Nexus Data Systems Ltd was incorporated in Scotland on May 9, 2000, under company number SC206956. The company operates from Nexus House in Hillington Park, Glasgow.

KT Hosting concentrates on traditional UK web hosting rather than a broad public-cloud portfolio. Its main services include Linux and Windows shared hosting, reseller hosting, email hosting, domain registration, SSL certificates, web design and related Internet services. Both cPanel and Plesk are used across the hosting platforms, making the service familiar for customers migrating from other conventional hosting providers.

Shared hosting is organized around Lite Hosting, Plus Hosting and Premier Hosting. Lite starts at £6.00 per month with 5 GB of storage and unlimited bandwidth. Plus starts at £11.50 per month with 10 GB, while Premier starts at £17.00 per month with 20 GB. Linux hosting includes the usual combination of MySQL databases, FTP access, email accounts and domain-management features, while Windows hosting provides an alternative for customers requiring Microsoft-compatible hosting.

Reseller hosting is based on cPanel/WHM. The Essential reseller package includes 50 GB of disk space and support for up to 50 hosting accounts, while Ultimate provides 100 GB and capacity for up to 100 accounts. Both are intended for developers, agencies and IT businesses that need to manage multiple customer websites from a central interface.

Standalone email hosting is also available. The Starter package includes five email accounts together with POP3/IMAP access, forwarding, SpamAssassin filtering and assistance with device configuration. Larger email packages increase the mailbox allowance and provide an uncomplicated option for businesses that need professional email without purchasing a full website-hosting plan.

Domain registration forms another important part of the service. Domain management includes DNS functionality, transfers and registrations across common extensions. SSL certificates are available for individual domains, wildcard deployments and multi-domain configurations, including certificates from Sectigo.

KT Hosting is primarily aimed at customers in the United Kingdom. Services and support are provided in English, while hosting and domain prices are quoted in GBP. The combination of UK telephone support, conventional shared hosting and straightforward account management makes it particularly suitable for small companies, established websites and customers who prefer direct technical assistance.

One concern is the accessibility of the kthosting.net storefront itself, which has experienced DNS and reachability problems during 2026. Nexus Data Systems Ltd remains an active company, but new customers should confirm current ordering availability, package specifications and access to the customer area before purchasing a new service.
