Founded in 1997, Hetzner is a hosting provider powered by hardware and software products with strong reputation on the market. They are a green company working on renewable energies. Their website is available in German, English and Russian.The company offers the following web hosting solutions:
- Shared Hosting;
- Dedicated Servers;
- Cloud Hosting;
- Managed Servers;
- Colocation;
- Domain Registration;
- SSL Certificates;
With shared hosting packages, customers can find included standard features that are important when purchasing hosting services: backup, SSL encryption or DNS. Hetzner also implemented support for PHP scripts or databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL). The inconvenience that might appear is that some features usually included in an unlimited amount in server configurations at other hosting companies, are restricted here to limited amounts, except for the advanced shared hosting plan.
Cloud servers are powered by Load Balancers and run on Intel Xeon Gold or AMD EPYC 2nd GEN processors. These are scalable servers and can be upgraded up to 10 TB storage and data traffic can be expanded from the 20 TB automatically implemented in the server. The customers also enjoy free choice regarding network storage (NVMe SSD RAID or Ceph).
Customers have the freedom to choose between pre-configured dedicated servers or the customization of their personal server. These are powered by Intel and AMD processors, running on SATA, HDD or NVMe SSD drives.

😠 My advice is do not to use Hetzner for domain hosting, and certainly not for a business, as the service is highly unreliable and you risk having to move to another provider. With Hetzner both our website and email (forwarding to another email provider) have frequent and intermittent failures - the basic requirements and reliability for domain hosting are simply not provided.
After 3 months and numerous contact with Hetzner/KonsoleH support in the hopes that there was some obscure DNS setting that was wrong (we hoped it was human error on our side) the issue has not been addressed or solved. I have to commend them on the SPEED of answers, very fast, friendly and polite - but the QUALITY of support is at best useless and at worst not even addressing the core support question - the conclusion offered repeatedly that settings good and service is working fine pretty much ignores the support request and evidence provided that service is NOT working fine for either web hosting or email forwarding, and so no steps or tech advice provided on how to solve the issue.
STEER CLEAR - you risk losing emails and your website will simply not be found in a random way that is not understood or even acknowledged by Hetzner/KonsoleH technical support (suspect they simply do not have resources to offer adequate technical support).

😠 People, do not use their service! they made a mistake and (Hetzner themselves) ordered an expensive server which I did not ask for. 5 minutes after I received the email I asked them to remove it 1. because it is a mistake 2. because I couldn't see it in my admin panel.
They didn't remove it, yet... 1 month later they send me a huge invoice.
I contacted customer service multiple times and they wont help me, I have to pay the invoice for a product I never ordered or used.
They have no proof (I asked for it) that I ordered it. They have nothing, yet they want me to pay the invoice.
Hetzner is a bad company that tries to take your money, they scam you and offer ZERO customer service.
Even after contacting them more then 5 times, explaining them what happened they still refuse to help or compensate me in any way possible.
DO NOT trust this company, DO NOT use their services.
