📄 Editorial Review

FORPSI is a long-running European hosting and domain brand operated by INTERNET CZ, a.s. in the Czech Republic. Their core focus is practical infrastructure services—domains, DNS, shared web hosting, email, VPS, dedicated servers, and server housing—paired with a customer portal that centralizes billing and technical administration.

Their background goes back to 1997 (initially operating as P.E.S. Consulting), with a major operational shift to Ktiš in 2001 and the formation of INTERNET CZ, a.s. in 2002. Over time, the business grew beyond simple shared hosting into a broader catalogue that targets both entry-level website owners and companies that need more control (virtual servers, dedicated hardware, and colocated deployments).

In 2005, the Italian cloud giant Aruba S.p.A. strategically acquired FORPSI, integrating the Czech provider’s high-capacity Ktiš (CZ1) data center—which features 80 Gbps+ redundant connectivity and N+1 power infrastructure—into its pan-European network of Tier-certified facilities to deliver enterprise-grade IaaS, colocation, and sovereign cloud solutions across Central Europe.

For day-to-day website hosting, they provide Linux web hosting designed around modern PHP stacks, SSH access, caching, and bundled email. They also run Windows web hosting for projects that need ASP/ASP.NET and Microsoft-oriented application compatibility, with databases and email included at plan level rather than as separate add-ons.
On the "build-a-site" side, they offer two distinct approaches: F-Page (template-driven website/e-shop builder with tools for content, design, and basic commerce) and WP Ready, which is a WordPress-oriented builder that leans on automation and AI-assisted setup while still including essentials like SSL.

For customers who want server-level control, FORPSI splits the offer into VPS and Dedicated Servers. VPS options include classic virtual servers for general workloads, while dedicated server hosting is aimed at users who want predictable performance, full isolation, and the flexibility to add items like Plesk licensing when needed. For hardware placement, they also provide Housing in their own facility, including remote console access (KVM over IP) and predictable connectivity packages.

Across the portfolio, they also cover common "infrastructure glue" services: DNS hosting (F-DNS) with API management, domain add-ons like DNSSEC and WHOIS privacy, SSL/TLS certificates, and practical extras such as assisted migrations and SEO tooling (rankingCoach).

Their website is multilingual (Czech, English, Slovak, Polish, and Hungarian) and pricing can be viewed in multiple currencies (CZK and EUR), which reduces friction for customers ordering from outside the home market. This localization approach signals they target users beyond a single domestic market and support smoother cross-border onboarding.

Forpsi Cloud

ForpsiCloud.cz is the cloud-computing arm of FORPSI, built for customers who want more than classic web hosting and need scalable infrastructure services that can be assembled like building blocks. Instead of focusing on shared hosting packages, it centers on IaaS-style components—virtual servers, storage, networking, backup, and managed data layers—so projects can start small and then grow into more complex architectures without changing providers.

A key practical detail is how tightly it connects to the wider FORPSI ecosystem (forpsi.com). Account and billing workflows are aligned with the same operator (INTERNET CZ, a.s.), and the customer environment is split into a Customer Zone (orders, credit balance, invoices) and a Control Panel (deploying and operating cloud services). This makes it feel like an "extension layer" to FORPSI: domains, classic hosting, dedicated servers, and housing remain part of the broader FORPSI portfolio, while ForpsiCloud adds the tooling for cloud workloads, hybrid setups, and pay-as-you-go infrastructure management.

The core product stack includes Cloud VPS (preconfigured virtual servers with Linux or Windows choices), Cloud PRO VMware (IaaS designed for more demanding and structured deployments with guaranteed resources), and Virtual Private Cloud (VMware-based virtual datacenter approach that supports building complete environments with servers, firewalls, and networks). On top of compute, it also offers Cloud Object Storage (S3-compatible storage for archiving and application data), Cloud Backup (backup accounts with flexible billing models), Cloud DBaaS (managed relational database engines such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server licensing options), Cloud Monitoring (monitoring with dashboards, alerting, and API integration), Hybrid Cloud / Hybrid Link connectivity for linking local and cloud environments, and a Domain Center for domain operations.

Language and localization are stronger than what many regional cloud portals provide. Depending on the section (main site, customer area, knowledge base, storage portal), the environment is available in Czech, Slovak, English, Italian, French, Polish, Hungarian, German, and Spanish. Pricing views are also practical for cross-border buyers, with CZK and EUR supported and VAT display commonly switchable between included and excluded.

ForpsiCloud.cz is a cloud extension of FORPSI (but only for CZ market, using only Czech language), aimed at customers who want to move from traditional hosting into infrastructure design: virtual servers, VMware-based private cloud constructs, S3-compatible storage, backup, monitoring, and managed database engines. Strengths include the multi-datacenter European footprint, clearly stated SLA targets, a practical credit-based billing model, and a well-developed ecosystem of documentation + nonstop support options.

It is a particularly good fit for teams that want Czech/EU-centric deployment choices, multi-language accessibility, and the ability to mix simple VPS-style instances with more structured VMware/OpenStack environments as requirements grow.
