📜 Plan description
Our hypervisors are built around CPU’s with a low number of very high performance cores – 3.5ghz, which means that core for core an EZP VPS is much faster than the competition. We use enterprise grade SSD’s in a raid array for absolutely excellent performance and reliability.
EZP doesn’t go the traditional route and build our servers big and cram them full of dozens and dozens – or hundreds of VPS’s. We keep the hypervisor (the base server that the VPS run on) small and fast. Then, we only put on a half dozen or so VPS’s on each hypervisor. This helps reduce the noisy neighbour syndrome, where one VPS can hog the server resources and cause other VPS’s to run slow.

📄 Editorial Review
EZP.net is a Canadian web hosting and infrastructure provider operated by EZProvider Networks Inc. from Vancouver, British Columbia. The company was founded in 2000 and has remained active for more than 25 years, making it one of the longer-running independent hosting businesses in Western Canada. Shane Simpson is the company owner, while James Mackie serves as CTO. The business remains deliberately small, with an estimated team of *2–10 employees*, and its operating style is built around direct technical support rather than a large corporate service structure. The service portfolio covers Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, KVM VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Domain Registration, SSL Certificates, server management, remote backup storage, website security, anti-spam protection and additional IPv4 addresses. This is a traditional infrastructure-oriented hosting company rather than a hyperscale cloud platform, with most services designed for websites, developers, agencies and small businesses that prefer cPanel-based Linux hosting.
The Shared Hosting range contains three packages. Shared 1 includes *10 GB SSD storage, 1,750 MHz CPU allocation and 512 MB RAM*. Shared 2 increases the resources to *20 GB SSD storage, 2,625 MHz CPU and 1 GB RAM*, while Shared 3 provides *30 GB SSD storage, 3,500 MHz CPU and 1.5 GB RAM*. Every package includes a dedicated IP address, unlimited hosted domains and unlimited email accounts.
The storage limits are modest compared with the oversized quotas used by many mass-market hosts, but the technical environment is considerably more complete than a basic budget account. Shared hosting uses *LiteSpeed Web Server, LSCache, MariaDB, CloudLinux, CageFS, cPanel, Softaculous and a web application firewall*. CloudLinux controls resource consumption, while CageFS separates individual accounts inside their own virtualized file systems.
Nightly off-server backups are created through R1Soft. Customers have browser-based access to available restore points, although independent backups remain advisable for important websites and business data. A dedicated IP is included with every shared account, helping to separate the customer’s email reputation from other users hosted on the same server.
The Reseller Hosting range uses WHM and consists of three packages with *30 GB, 60 GB and 90 GB SSD storage*. Each package includes a dedicated IP address, a 3,500 MHz CPU allocation, 2 GB RAM and unlimited cPanel accounts. These plans are suitable for agencies, developers and web designers that need to create separately managed customer accounts without administering an entire VPS.
The VPS Hosting platform uses KVM virtualization with enterprise SSD storage arranged in RAID arrays. Resources are organized into slices, with each basic slice providing *1 vCPU, 1.5 GB RAM and 40 GB SSD storage*. Eight standard configurations are available, beginning with 1 vCPU, 1.5 GB RAM and 40 GB SSD storage and reaching 4 vCPU, 12 GB RAM and 320 GB SSD storage.
The VPS infrastructure follows a relatively low-density design. Each hypervisor normally carries approximately half a dozen virtual machines rather than dozens or hundreds of small instances. The nodes use high-frequency processor cores running at around 3.5 GHz, which suits websites and applications that depend more on individual-core performance than on very large processor counts.
A VPS can be operated as an unmanaged Linux server or expanded with management, monitoring, cPanel, CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, LSCache, backup services and additional IP addresses. This flexibility makes the range useful for experienced administrators as well as customers moving beyond shared hosting for the first time.
The standard Dedicated Server configuration uses an *Intel Xeon E3-1241 v3 processor, 16 GB RAM, one 1 TB SATA drive and 1,000 GB monthly bandwidth*. Custom server configurations and multi-server projects are also available. The standard processor and mechanical storage are now old compared with modern dedicated-server hardware, so customers needing NVMe storage, larger memory allocations or newer CPUs should request a custom configuration.
The product range also includes domain registration and transfers across hundreds of generic, national and specialized extensions. SSL certificates are supplied through Sectigo, with PositiveSSL, wildcard and extended-validation options available.
Additional services include website firewall protection, uptime and malware monitoring, hack cleanup, managed server administration, remote SSH/SFTP backup storage and extra IPv4 addresses. Anti-spam filtering is also available for VPS and dedicated-server customers.
Colocation remains part of the company’s contractual service range, although it is not offered as a standard instant-order package. Its contractual terms cover internet transit availability, internal packet delivery, equipment responsibilities and service credits.
The main company content is in English. The customer and ordering portal supports a much broader selection of languages: *Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian*. Two Portuguese localizations are included.
Prices can be displayed in Canadian dollars or US dollars, with CAD used as the default currency. The corporate presentation has an older design and the blog has received few recent updates, but the customer portal, ordering system, product catalog, ticket departments and billing functions remain active.
A separate Toronto Shared Hosting category is available in the ordering portal. Detailed Toronto-specific specifications are not clearly separated from the Vancouver packages, so customers who specifically require Toronto infrastructure should confirm the server location before ordering.
