*📜 Plan description
True BusinessID Wildcard is priced at GBP 449.99 per year and is the broadest coverage option in the listed range for organisations that need one certificate to secure a main domain and all of its subdomains. The page identifies it as a wildcard certificate, so the hosted domain count is treated as 0 in this report to reflect all subdomains protected rather than a single site. It uses business and organisation identity checks, with proof of organisation or a DUNS number plus domain ownership or rights to use the domain required for authentication. The site seal is dynamic and can show time, date, domain name and organisation name. The term is 1 year, encryption is up to 256-bit, browser compatibility is shown as supported, green bar is not included, and average delivery is stated as 2 business days. Unlike the BusinessID and EV multi-domain options, the page shows no SAN support for this wildcard product. Free reissues are included for the lifetime of the certificate and the listed warranty is 500000 USD, the highest warranty shown in the package table. This plan is suitable for larger organisations, agencies and multi-service environments that want organisation-validated trust signals across many subdomains without buying separate single-name certificates.
SSL on this range is positioned as a trust and security layer for websites and other online services. The page presents a full range of certificates, online setup, UK based support, website seals as standard, optional Extended Validation for the browser green bar style identity display, and warranties up to 500000 USD depending on the certificate selected. The FAQ explains that SSL creates an encrypted connection between a server and a website so confidential information can travel securely, helps visitors recognise a secure site through HTTPS and the browser padlock, and is suitable for web servers, email servers, webmail, databases, FTP sites, online chats, login pages, portals, customer portals, banking, ecommerce, intranets, extranets, wikis and VPNs. All listed certificates are shown with 1 year terms, browser compatibility, free reissues for the lifetime of the certificate, and prices shown ex VAT at 20 percent. Easyspace also shows customer contact routes including phone, email, live chat and a support portal, and states a 100 percent network uptime guarantee at company level for its hosting services. The first renewal pricing for these SSL products is published separately and later renewals are stated to move in line with CPI.

📄 Editorial Review
Easyspace is one of the older UK hosting brands still operating under its own name, with roots going back to July 18, 1997. It now sits inside the iomart group, which gives it a larger corporate backbone than the site first suggests, and that matters because much of the service is built around infrastructure that is actually owned and run within that wider group rather than rented from anonymous third parties. The brand remains very UK-centered in both tone and design: the public site is essentially English-only, support is marketed as UK-based, and pricing can be viewed in GBP, USD, and EUR, although the commercial setup is clearly built first for the British market. The product range is broader than standard shared hosting alone. Easyspace covers domain registration and transfer, shared web hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS, cloud servers, dedicated servers, email hosting, Microsoft 365, SSL certificates, website builder tools, and custom web design. The company also keeps some business extras around those services, such as DNS management, domain privacy, secure domain forwarding, filtering for business email, and managed options for dedicated infrastructure. That makes it more of a full web-presence provider than a narrow hosting-only brand.
The shared hosting side is fairly traditional but still practical. They offer both Linux and Windows web hosting, which is becoming less common among smaller brands. The Entry, Standard, Premium, and WordPress plans scale from basic starter hosting into stronger packages with SSD storage, unlimited bandwidth, free domain on yearly terms, email, MySQL, backup options, and in the higher plans included SSL and backup/restore. The WordPress hosting tier is one of the more developed parts of the lineup, using a dedicated NGINX environment, daily backup and restore, Intel Xeon Gold hardware, UK support, and a setup aimed at customers who want WordPress performance without handling server maintenance themselves.
The infrastructure products are where Easyspace becomes more distinctive. Their VPS line focuses on Linux virtual servers with root access and optional Plesk, while cloud servers are positioned as self-healing UK-based instances with dedicated resources, firewall management, monthly billing, and full control-panel access. On the high end, dedicated servers include custom and pre-built options, NVMe models, eco servers, and even a newer Dallas, Texas dedicated range alongside the mainly UK-based estate. They also offer managed dedicated support layers, backup options, hardware firewalls, and multiple control-panel choices. That is a much more serious server offering than the average registrar-led host usually keeps.
Domains and email are also important parts of the business. Easyspace is one of the relatively few ICANN-accredited registrars in the UK, and the domain platform includes bulk management, full DNS control, MX control, domain forwarding, DNSSEC protection, and privacy options. On the email side, the catalog ranges from basic EasyMail to EasyMail Pro, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and an email filtering product with spam, virus, phishing, and quarantine controls. It is a broad portfolio, and although the site design still feels a bit old-school in places, the actual service mix is deeper than it first appears.
Another interesting recent detail is brand consolidation inside the same corporate umbrella. In 2025, Easyspace announced that Titan Internet was being unified into the Easyspace brand after years of sharing the same group, systems, team, and control panel. That reinforces the impression of a mature hosting business that has absorbed or consolidated related legacy brands rather than trying to reinvent itself as a trendy cloud startup.
