dotPH, legally operated by DotPH Domains Inc., is the official registry administrator for the Philippines’ .PH country-code domain. The company was established in 1989 by José Emmanuel "Joel" Disini, one of the pioneers involved in developing commercial Internet services in the Philippines. The .PH extension was formally delegated on September 14, 1990, several years before general Internet connectivity became widely available across the country.

DotPH manages registrations directly under .ph together with second-level extensions such as .com.ph, .net.ph, and .org.ph. Government and educational namespaces, including .gov.ph and .edu.ph, are administered separately. Its international customer base extends across more than 75 countries, supported by a broad network of Philippine and overseas registrar partners.

The organization operates with an estimated 11–50 employees. Although domain administration remains its principal responsibility, the wider portfolio includes domain registration, Linux shared hosting, WooCommerce hosting, VPS plans, full-machine hosting, SSL certificates, private registration, Registry Lock, productivity suites, domain trading, forwarding, and web-design services.

Domain registration is the company’s most important service. Customers can register names directly under .PH or choose .COM.PH, .NET.PH, and .ORG.PH according to the intended use of the website. Standard registrations include DNS management, renewal administration, web forwarding, and access to the DotPH account platform.

Social Media Domains provide a less expensive option for redirecting a short Philippine domain to a Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Lazada, or Shopee profile. These registrations are designed specifically for forwarding and cannot be combined with conventional hosting, independent DNS administration, or marketplace functions unless upgraded to a standard registration.

The free Domain Swap service allows eligible customers to replace an existing Philippine domain with another available name. Premium domains and certain restricted registrations are excluded, but the feature can be useful when a business changes its name, corrects a branding decision, or wants a better domain without maintaining two separate registrations.

The DotPH Marketplace provides an organized platform for purchasing and selling previously registered Philippine domains. Sellers can establish a fixed buyout price or accept bids. Completed purchases and accepted bids are automatic, final, and irreversible, reducing transfer uncertainty while requiring buyers to check every transaction carefully before confirming it.

Linux shared hosting is divided into Single Domain Hosting and Multiple Domain Hosting. Both categories use cPanel and provide fixed storage, traffic, email, and domain allocations instead of unlimited resources.

Single-domain packages begin with 30 GB storage, 50 email accounts, up to 100 GB monthly transfer, 10 subdomains, and 10 mailing lists. Larger plans increase capacity to as much as 120 GB storage, 300 email accounts, and 500 GB monthly transfer. Selected upper-tier packages also include an SSL certificate.

Multiple-domain hosting starts with support for 10 domains, 200 email accounts, 40 GB storage, and 100 GB monthly transfer. The larger configurations accommodate up to 60 domains, 800 email accounts, 150 GB storage, and 600 GB monthly transfer. These packages are suitable for agencies, developers, organizations with multiple brands, and businesses managing several modest websites from one cPanel account.

WooCommerce Hosting offers a simple entry point for building a Philippine online store. The Start-up and Pro packages include one WooCommerce installation, an SSL certificate, and a 10 GB email account. Storage allocations are 25 GB and 50 GB respectively. These plans are appropriate for smaller ecommerce websites, while stores with demanding extensions, high order volumes, or substantial database activity may eventually require a VPS or a more powerful ecommerce environment.

The virtual-server range includes the MiddleWeight VPS, which provides 2 GB RAM, 200 GB RAID storage, a static public IP address, and a dual-core processor allocation. The CruiserWeight VPS increases capacity to 4 GB RAM and 500 GB RAID storage.

The HeavyWeight package functions more like a dedicated server than a conventional virtual machine. It includes a quad-core 64-bit machine, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB RAID storage, one static IP address, and KVM access. DotPH therefore has a full-machine hosting option, although it does not maintain a large catalog of configurable bare-metal servers.

The VPS specifications are conservative compared with current cloud platforms. Dual-core processing, modest memory allocations, conventional RAID storage, and references to CentOS make the range more suitable for stable local workloads than for modern high-compute applications, large databases, container clusters, GPU projects, or heavily scalable cloud services.

Business productivity services include Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Microsoft packages cover Business Basic, Business Standard, and Apps for Business. Google Workspace is available through Business Starter and Business Standard. These subscriptions combine professional email, cloud storage, document collaboration, video conferencing, and office applications with local billing and assistance.

Security services include Domain Validation SSL, Organization Validation SSL, and Wildcard SSL. The certificates support 256-bit encryption, 2048-bit certificate-signing requests, unlimited server reissues, and warranties reaching $50,000. Private registration replaces publicly displayed registrant contact details with privacy-protected information. Registry Lock provides stronger protection by adding additional verification before sensitive changes can be completed. This service is especially valuable for banks, ecommerce companies, government-related organizations, major brands, and domains exposed to hijacking risks.

Web-design projects are handled through a project-based service structure. Initial mockups generally require three to five working days, while full projects may take approximately 14–30 working days. Additional pages and later modifications are charged separately. The older fixed $480 web-design package should no longer be treated as a current standard offer.
