It's funny, Herminio Disini the dickshit who stole 10 Billion dollars from the U.S and Marcos family, and now his son owns the dotPH domains. Don't trust the bullshit reviews, they're all from the employees from the company, you're better off using you Paypal on using foreign web hosting services.
First off, the monopoly here is apparent, like in telecommunications we have PLDT, Globe and Smart, dotPH is one (and only one) of those monopolies. They charge you exorbitant prices for shit services, seriously compare one of their services on this link: https://new.dot.ph/pricing and go ahead and search a reputable international web hoster, you will see the difference. You pay so much money when other companies ask for so much less and provide more,

Must have a Customer Assistance during weekends and holidays incase of server down. The plans are affordable and Tech. Support during weekdays is good.

We maintain over 80 servers, complete with firewalls, anti-virus protection and security against Denial-of-Service and other attacks.
The PH domain namespace is well into its growth phase. Since the market is not yet saturated as opposed to gTLDS like .com,.net or .org, most individuals as well as businesses can register the domain of their choice. We are a locally based Company and moving to a local hosting service provider was a great move as we can immediately get feedback and support and help as we learn to host a better web presence and add some of the features and applications made available to us. The staff have considerable knowledge, not a surprise perhaps as the Philippines of course has some of the best in this business anywhere in the world. We would look at moving hosting for other Domains when or if this is made available. We have used Dot.ph to register Philippine Domains for many years. Hope you can start to offer registration and Domain Management for other International Domains as long as you also do this locally please!

Had a good start with this webhosting provider, as I was only looking for a speedier host than faraway Yahoo!. Tech support was limited but accommodating when available -- good that I only needed rudimentary help and could go on after the initial set-up. Uploading files was easy with my software (WYSIWYG WebBuilder), with less constraint than Yahoo Webhosting.
This company does not have 24/7 tech support, and observes 9AM-6PM phone support hours Mon-Friday only, excepting holidays. Not too comforting.
The control panel doesn't work as it should -- can't track site traffic -- and is only minimally helpful. If you're not an expert and need guidance, call tech support, but only during the specified days and time. Still, no traffic count. Also not good.
