Cirrus Hosting is a long-running Canadian hosting brand with roots going back to 1999. They now operate under World Host Group CA Corp and sit inside the broader World Host Group structure, while their internal domain registrar is handled through WHG Hosting Services Ltd in England and Wales. The company still leans heavily into its Toronto identity, but the legal and corporate footprint is now broader, with Vancouver used for company administration and Toronto still central to infrastructure messaging. Their numbers point to a business that is not tiny: roughly 15,000+ websites, 5,000+ virtual machines, and 100,000+ domains.

The product mix is well rounded without becoming bloated. They cover Strato Linux and Windows shared hosting, WordPress hosting, Alto Linux and Windows VPS, bespoke dedicated servers, and domain registration and transfers. The shared side is built around free SSL, free migrations, a 1000 Mbit/sec connection, NVMe storage, and backups every 12 hours. WordPress gets the same general performance and migration angle, plus specialist support, spam filtering, and automatic backups. On the domain side, they include free WHOIS privacy, keep domains in the customer’s own name, allow bulk contact management, and make transfers straightforward with EPP/Auth code support and no hidden transfer fees.

The storefront itself is mainly English, but the client and billing side is more flexible. Their portal exposes English and French (Canada), and the ordering system uses CAD by default while also surfacing a broader multi-currency setup in checkout. That gives the platform a more international feel than the front-end marketing site alone would suggest.
