The .com registration price is 1.99 EUR per month and the same top-domain group also includes .de, .at, .ch, .es, .eu, .ro, .asia, .net, .name, .co.uk, .me.uk, .org.uk, .tel, .be, .dk, .fr, .nl, .pl, .com.tr and .cc. Each domain includes 50 email accounts and 25 GB of online storage, plus free email support. A domain can be registered as a new domain or transferred when the customer already owns it. The transfer action itself is free, but the usual monthly domain fee still applies after the domain is moved and re-registered with Cabanova. Transfers require ownership of the domain and an Authorization Code, also known as an EPP key, from the current registrar. The domain transfer process is intended to move the domain completely from the current registrar to Cabanova while the customer remains the owner. Cabanova is a German website-builder and hosted website platform operated by Cabanova GmbH, with roots going back to 1999, when Karl Weyers and Sebastian Schmitz started a small Internet agency in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Cabanova product later became known for browser-based website creation, simple editing, ready-made templates, hosted websites, domains, email accounts, SSL, SEO tools, and small-business website packages.This is not a classic web hosting provider with separate shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, reseller hosting, or colocation plans. Cabanova is closer to a website builder with included hosting. Customers build and publish websites through the Cabanova editor, using templates, drag-and-drop editing, pre-filled content, contact forms, galleries, maps, media modules, guestbooks, polls, full-text search, mobile website options, and e-commerce tools.
The strongest fit is for small businesses, freelancers, clubs, associations, local service providers, and users who want a simple hosted website without installing WordPress or managing server software. The builder includes more than 1000 templates and many business/topic categories, making it useful for customers who prefer a quick visual editor over manual web design.
Cabanova has a long product history. Older Cabanova versions were connected with Flash, while later generations moved toward HTML5 and mobile-friendly publishing. A 2021 update ended the old Cabanova XL / Flash-based version after Adobe stopped Flash Player support. This is no longer a professional service; it’s a trap for your hard work and money.I spent two weeks working 15 hours a day on my website, only for them to sabotage it. Here is the reality of using their "PRO" service:Technical Sabotage: They injected a forced "meta refresh" redirect into my main page code, hijacking my traffic and destroying my SEO indexing on Google and Bing.Feature Blackmail: After 14 days, they restricted my access to basic features (like connecting menu buttons) and limited the AI support to just 4 minutes, trying to force me into a more expensive plan.Incompetence: Their "global pages" system is broken—anything you add to one page (like a contact form) appears on every single page of the site. You have zero control over the HTML or DNS.Aggressive/Abusive Support: When I confronted them, their support team was incredibly unprofessional, using insults like "#staypoor" and calling my bank "dumb.

It's a bit lame to start a dispute for a domain purchase you made and chose.
By doing this dispute you have cauase us a double loss:
- domain cost - we paid 1 year in advance (there is no refund for domains)
- dispute fee
And ING bank seems really dumb.
You complained that we tricked you ?

😠 Unfortunately, nearly 2 years went by before any response from Cabanova was made to my inquiries about maintaining my domain, which I had registered with them for many years. Granted, this was during the pandemic. But still, it expired and they did nothing to answer any of my questions about how to maintain ownership of it. Consequently, it was lost to an obscure Chinese company which I am unable to contact.
Cabanova has finally responded in March 2022 but offered absolutely no help regaining my domain or taking any responsibility for the lack of communication that led to my domain’s loss. This is a warning to any of you considering trusting Cabanova to handle your affairs with integrity or support. They failed miserably in my case.
