BeotelNet was one of Serbia’s older Internet and hosting providers, with activity dating back to 26 February 1996. The brand had a strong local legacy because it belonged to the early commercial Internet period in Serbia and was associated with the country’s first international Internet connectivity. Today, beotel.net is no longer active as an independent provider and works mainly as a transition point toward Telekom Srbija / MTS (mts.rs).

From 1 December 2025, BeotelNet became part of Telekom Srbija. From that date, Telekom Srbija took over the telecommunications, hosting and ICT services previously used through BeotelNet. Existing users continued under Telekom Srbija’s conditions, while the old BeotelNet identity stopped functioning as a separate hosting and ISP business.

The company operated legally as BeotelNet-ISP d.o.o. Beograd, headquartered in Belgrade. A clearly documented individual founder is not consistently available, but the company’s foundation date is well established. Its later ownership history is better documented: from July 2013, BeotelNet was owned by the Cyprus-based investment structure Kerseyco Trading LTD, part of TLCP Emerging Europe L.P.

BeotelNet was not just a small hosting provider. Its business covered Internet access, wired and wireless connectivity, ADSL, fixed telephony, VoIP, IPTV, domain registration, web hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, SSL certificates, email and ICT services. This made the company closer to a local telecom and Internet-services operator than to a simple shared-hosting reseller.

The hosting portfolio included Linux shared hosting, Windows shared hosting, SSD hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, domain registration, SSL certificates, and business email services. Linux and Windows hosting were suitable for Serbian-market websites, small business projects, email hosting and CMS-based sites. VPS and dedicated server services were aimed at users needing stronger resources, full server control and a more business-oriented hosting environment.

BeotelNet also strengthened its market position by connecting with other Serbian Internet brands and networks, including NSPoint.Net, BISInter.net and Sinfonika. This local consolidation helped the company keep a recognizable position in the Serbian ISP market before the final migration into Telekom Srbija.
